Acknowledgement: I don't own Horton hears a who or jojo, the only character I own is Koa who is my character. It's been a while since I posted a story so here it goes hope you enjoy.
FRIENDS:
I am sick and tired of my dad always getting on my case "oh I want you to be mayor he says, I want you to be one of the greats he says" jojo then slams his fist into the ground as a tears begins to fill his eyes, his body begins to tremble "I hate that I get picked on for being short, I hate the fact that I get called names just because I'm quiet I hate it" he looks up as he sees a who about just a foot taller than him with blue bangs dangling in front of his face his fur blue and black and his eyes a hazel color.*Sniffs* "who are you?!" jojo demands as the who just smiles and brushes his bangs from his face. "Name's Koa braddah I'm from a Howville" the new who just laughs. The new who turns and is about to walk away "I see you don't want to talk, shoots den bro see you later" Koa is about to walk away when something caught his ear a voice broken that wants to be heard as Jojo begins to read a poem that he just wrote
Lost in the darkness of the world
My bed in a web of woven lies
My voice is gone
Nothing but silent cries
Bleeding from a broken heart
My bones shatter with reality
Nothing special about me
I'm just a shadow that no one sees
Fading with the sunset
No one remembers
They only forget
Imbedded in the darkest part of your memories
A burden created from your fantasies
I'm grieving I'm weeping
While the rest is sleeping
My heart aches
As the world shakes
Quiet listen just one more try
Can't hear it can you
Can't hear my silent cry
This just brings Koa to tears as he turns around runs up to jojo and embraces him "Wow bro I don't even know you and I already know that you need a friend." Jojo pushes Koa away " I do have friends I have a lot their names are Mike, Marcus, and…and a lot of others so just leave me alone." Koa then pulls out a piece of paper as tears begin to fill his eyes, Jojo sees this and asks him what's wrong? "My friend Ikaika wrote this for me before he died of cancer."
Koa then reads the poem in between sobs
A friend like you
Is a diamond true
Rare precious and hard to find
A friendship like ours
Is a friendship divine
I will be a real friend to you
When you sleep
Koa then looks up to the sky as he shout's the last two lines
I'LL BE BY YOUR SIDE TILL IM SIX FEET DEEP!!
Koa then falls to his knees and begins to just cry his heart out as jojo embraces this new who "Hey its ok Koa don't worry I will be your friend ok" Koa then lays his head on jojo's shoulder "I did it Ikaika I survived" as he holds his arm which is wrapped in a tight bandage
P.S I hope you guys like my story and the poems that are written in here are my own I will not lie to you those two poems are from me, I hope you like it please R&R and be nice it's been a while since I wrote a story
