CHAPTER 1: GOODBYE DOR, HELLO NARNIA
It was ten years since Despereux Tilling had made his heroic deed. He and his family now lived with Princess Pea and her father in the palace. As time had gone by, The Princess grew older and was now of the marrying age. She was to marry anyone she pleased as the was law in Dor, and there was a rumor she'd chose Despereux Tilling the Littlest Knight as the heir to the throne. Since Despereux was a knight despite the fact he was a mouse there was nothing wrong with this. Since Princess Pea was the first girl born to the royal family in sixty-five generations the Tradition of the female marriage year celebration hadn't been down in a long time. The Tradition was to go the distant land of Narnia home of the Lion Aslan. Now of course as honorary members of the court Despereux and his family were considered honored guests on the journey. But the stories of Narnia, of the peace it had between humans and animals, of its beautiful mountains and best of all its fantastic ruler Aslan had spread across the castle. And all the mice in Dor were planning to stow away on the journey before the ship left.
