"one-sama!"
Kyoko quickly waked up at this calling. She sat up from her lying position under the shade of a blossom tree. She looked at the environment around her and saw that it was a sunny day and that she had fallen asleep in a garden surround by multitude of flower and butterflies. She was assaulted by another cry of "nee-sama". Kyoko looked at her left and saw Maria running toward her. She barely had the time to stand up and open her arms that Maria already throw herself at her.
"What is it Maria?"
The little girl smiled at her and answered with a mischief glim in her eyes "Dad is waiting for us. And he said that he has a surprise for us!"
Kyoko nodded and took Maria's hand and they both walk toward the mansion you could saw at the very end of the garden.
After few minutes, both girls arrived at their house laughing. They were climbing the stair toward the kitchen door when the said door suddenly opened showing a fuming Kanae.
"Where were you?" spitted Kanae.
Kyoko self-conscious answered "Sorry Kanae. I fell asleep."
Kanae glared at her "Mo! Hurry up! Father is waiting for us."
Kyoko and Maria shared a look before following Kanae inside the kitchen. All three bepassed the cook and left the kitchen for the living room where Sébastian, their father's right hand opened the door for them. Inside the living room were another girl who was furiously writing in a note book and throwing glare every so often to the other man present inside.
The man was sitting in a chair that looked like a throne near the fireplace. He was wearing an electrical blue outfit and was smoking a cigar. When the door closed behind them, Kyoko, Kanae and Maria was great by a glare from their sister and by a boyish grin from their father. The last addition to the living room quickly took a sit in one of the couch near their father chair.
When their father looked at them with a prankster smile the three oldest girls were waiting for their doom aka the last of their father's idea. They even felt shiver going down their spine when they saw their little sister sitting down in their father's lap grinning evilly.
Lory was clearing its voice to announce to his daughters the wonderful new but was interrupt by the door bouncing on the wall and a yell of "Darling!" that precede the entrance of an elegant petite woman. She was panting, her dress still in her hands to facilitate her run. She beamed at her family and screamed "Is it true that we are invited to the royal ball?"
Lory joking glare at his wife and pouted "Ten, I was going to tell our daughters but you had ruin all the fun! " The petite woman let her dress fall down, coughed a little and looked innocently at her husband "Sorry!" Lory shook his head amused. As for the three older girls, they were frozen in their spot. However the youngest was all excited and was asking question concerning the veracity of the handsomeness of the crown prince. She was rudely interrupt when Kanae jerk awake and firmly said "Without me" quickly following by the other two girls.
Both parents looked disappointed in their daughters. Lory had tears in his eyes like they just kick his favorite puppy but Ten had other plan for her party pooper of daughters. "You will go young ladies! This is not an option; I won't have many more occasion of doing your make up. You'll go and that is a final." The girls hung their head in despair but said nothing more. The extravagant man with renew vigor clap five times in his hands and five maids enter the living room with in their hands five dresses of different size but same model and same color. An bright, flashy, burning in the eyes pink.
Maria's eyes went wide in horror, Kanae coughed when she had shallow her spit in attempt of laughing, Shiori had brake her pen at the surprise, Kyoko had shudded and even Ten had winced.
The man looked at his family and concluded this meeting with an foolish smile and a sentence "We'll have so much fun!"

The four daughters were meeting in Kyoko's bedroom each one of their assign dress set down in pill on the bed and the sisters were sitting on the floor the further away from the bed. Kanae turned away from the sight "I can't believe, are we really force to wear these things?" she added with degust. Her sisters looked at her and nodded deject.
A big sigh could be heard when suddenly Kyoko looked at her sister's with gleaming eyes. Kyoko bent down toward her sisters, forcing them to come closer and whispered "Nobody say we couldn't ameliorate them! " Kanae and Shiori smirked at Kyoko and Maria looked up confused, Kyoko smiled tenderly at her and awhile caressing her hair said "Don't worry, I will help you"
The next morning, the four daughters of the Duke Takerada were seen in town making purchases, smirking evilly the all-time.

The morning of the ball, Duke Takerada's daughters were corner by their mother in the bathroom when they were preparing themselves. Their mother firstly snicker then smile at the new design of their dresses. The girls gave a smirk at their mother but tense up when her mother said "I'll have to make a beautiful make up for each one of you to be sure that they find fine young men to married at the end of the night" The girl covered in fear.

The night finally came, such a beautiful night with stars shining in the sky, a warm breeze transporting the music and laugher coming from the castle and a glowing path leading to it. Many coaches were driving toward the castle where the royal family invited most of the population especially young woman in hope to find a future queen for the kingdom and a future wife for the crown prince.
The royal family was sitting in their throne waiting for the last guests and the start of the festivity. The prince was situate at his father's night and was talking to his best friend and advisor while his beautiful green eyes continuously glare at the crow and emitting vibe of anger at his parents scheming. The king feeling this chuckled and told his son that the ball was also for him to meet an old friends and the king chuckled some more thinking at the show he was sure to see. The prince's mother subtly added that he had three beautiful daughters still singles. The prince sighed at the implication.
Ten minutes later heavy silence fell upon the ballroom. The king and the queen looked toward the entrance and they both sniggered. Their son finally looked up and saw at the door the most shocking family he ever saw. Every member of the family wore flashy pink, even the Duke. The prince vaguely heard his father saying "That is the Duke Takerada for you"
On the other side of the ballroom, the pink family had mix feeling, joyful for the only man, slightly embarrassment for the older woman, irritation and shame for the three oldest daughters and indifference for the youngest. Kyoko took Maria's hand and with her sisters began to go down the stair following, few second later by their parents. They all crossed the ballroom to go pay their respect to the royal family when they arrived, they all court. Lory smiled at his oldest friends and proclaimed "Long time no see, my friends. Weren't my daughters beautiful?" Kanae glared at her father, Shiori rolled her eyes, Kyoko blushed and Maria beamed at her father. The queen answered with plotting eyes "They are lovely" Kyoko looked awestruck by the compliment given by the lady that could passed for a fairy queen. She missed her mother reply about finding nice young men to marry. Kanae fed up with her parents' antics decided to leave. She was quickly follow by Kyoko and Shiori leaving Maria with their parents and her handsome prince who was following the every move of Kyoko.
The three girls joined their friends Momose who was standing next to the buffet. The ball finally started and the royal couple urged their son and his friends to go dance and meet everyone while they talked with their friends.
The prince and his aid stand up and leave, barely five minutes later they were sieged by thousands of young women. The bespectacled aid smirked and said "Oua! What a success prince Kuon!" He was answered by a gentleman smile and a thread "For every dance I'm forced upon, you'll also suffer the same fate, Yashiro" The aid grimace while imagining the foot pain.

"I can't believe it" Kanae was growling, repeating this sentence again and again.
Momose smiled at the girls "You have beautiful dress even with the main theme" The girls thanked her while remembering their father face early today when he first saw them. Indeed, Kanae had a dominant of red, she had made the dress sleeveless, had put red lace on her corsage, made a red belt, had slightly open the open of the skirt that let glimpse of her leg at every walk. She had put a red choker and had style her hair half high with a red rose.
For Shiori's dress was three quarter sleeves dress and knee short skirt. She had a violet belt, wore purple high heels with ribbon going up her leg. She also had sewn a butterfly design on her corsage that reminded them of her hair pins.
As for Kyoko, everyone could saw that she spend a lot of time on her dress. She made an off shoulder dress with a heart shape corsage. She sewn an intriguing pattern of arabesque of midnight blue on her skirt that go up on her corsage in volute. He wore a beautiful pendant resting between her breasts that have a shade of blue but turn amber like her eyes when it caught the light. She wore her hair high up attached by few ribbon of different shade of blue.
Everyone was captive by the three beautiful ladies that stand out of the crowd. Momose was kidnapped and force to dance with a man that made her laughed the entire time. The three sisters were then asked by the Ishibashi's cousin for a dance which the girls gladly accepted. They were joining by Maria who was asked by her longtime crush Hio. The olders sisters smiled at each other at the scene.
Few dances later, Kyoko saw the man that was standing next to the prince asking Kanae for a dance. Kanae was looking for an escape when she saw Kyoko smirking in her way. She huffed but finally accepted the hand. Kyoko smiled at her sister and was going to turn toward her other sister when a hand suddenly appeared before her eyes. She slowly looked up and locked eyes with the prince himself. He smiled at her and she shyly accepted his hand and they began to dance.
In an embarrassing silence at first, then Kyoko saw her sister Kanae blushing at something her partner had said while trying to look offend. Kyoko giggle and said to herself "Good for you Kanae." She barely contained a scream when she heard the prince said "your sister and Yashiro made a cute couple" Kyoko nodded and replied "True, your aid seem to be able to make my sister blushing. I must admit it is infrequent." The prince chuckled "I must say that Yashiro seem to be enjoying himself and it's pretty infrequent too, mostly in ball."
Kyoko smiled amused and the prince forgot for few second how to breath. They continued to dance while talking. But it stopped, too early for the prince liking when Kyoko saw the little sister yawning. She excused herself and turned around immediately after missing the look of deception crossing on the prince face. She quickly went to her parents and courted to the royal couple before saying that she will take a walk around the garden with Maria. Her parents nodded telling her to be careful and Kyoko grabbed her little sister and went outside not paying attention to the shadow following them the garden.

Kyoko and Maria were taking a scroll through the garden when they came across a rose garden illuminated by thousands of little light. Maria's eyes widen in wonderland and share a look with her onee-sama. They both were giggling when a hand grab Kyoko's shoulder. She screamed making Maria jumped and hid in fear in Kyoko's leg when they heard a male voice said "Come on Kyoko! Knock it off" Kyoko abruptly stopped and glared at the man behind her, a man that had break her heart but that she learn to forget.
"What are you doing here Shotaro?" Spitted Kyoko
He cockily smirked "I was invited of course"
Kyoko rolled her eyes still astoumish that she had at some point loved this arrogant guy.
Soon enough Sho dropped this smirk and violently grabbed Kyoko's arm "Why didn't you come to me at the beginning of the ball and why did you accept to dance with the pig head prince?" He looked like a five years old throwing a tantrum. He concluded his little rant on an arrogant "you're mine!"
At this egocentrically speech Kyoko saw red. She tried to shake him off making him angrier but replied with venom "I AM NOT YOURS and will never be again. You broke my heart, toss my aside when big breast girls passed by and I finally forget about you. I don't want to do anything anymore with you, so stop talking to me or even better stop trying to see me because I'm pretty sure I don't want to see you!" and Maria added her little input with a kick on Sho's leg and yelled "Release my sister!"
Sho had never like Kyoko's little sister, he raised his hand to strike her but Kyoko pushed Maria behind her and she closed her eyes bracing herself for the impact. But few second later still nothing, she opened her eyes and looked up. Shotaro's hand was maintained by another one. Attached to this hand was an arm that had encircled Kyoko minutes ago while dancing. The man face was still in the dark shadow of the garden but he said in a cold voice "It's not a proper way to treat neither a little girl nor a lady" Sho turned and glared at the intruder "It's none of your business, she's mine to begin with. So back off" The arrogant man bit his lip when he finally saw the man when this one stepped out of the shadow and understood what Kyoko had knew from the start.
Kuon was given a death glare to the blond brat in front of him, all his previously gentleman act was throw aside. He growled "Don't ever touch her again, do not ever go near her or her family again or I'll make sure you will regret the day you were born." Sho paled at the thread but nodded and when his arm was released he sprinted away.
Kyoko bowed low "Thank you for everything, Your Highness" Kuon shook his head "Kuon not your Highness." Kyoko stood up but refused to cross his eyes making him worry "Are you okay?" He asked in a gentle voice. Kyoko nodded and Maria burst in tears next to her. Kuon crouched down and he was engulfed in a hug. He pressed the little girl more closely and looked at Kyoko for some help. What he saw made his heart clenched painfully. Kyoko was silently crying. Kuon spotted a bench, he took Kyoko's hand and with his little charge went to sit on it. He put Maria on his laps, letting her clamped his shirt and crying. He put one of his arm around Kyoko's shoulder to bring her closer, making her leaned on his own shoulder. And he waited. He waited for their tears to subsid and maybe for an explanation of earlier misadventure.
After few minutes Maria was fast asleep and Kyoko no longer looking distress but more embarrassed by her behavior in front of the crown prince. Kyoko made Kuon released her and she shyly smiled at him and at the scene of Maria sleeping on him. She whispered her thank you at Kuon. The urge to ask for information was so great that when Kyoko began to explain, Kuon let a sigh go.
"I was my secret ex-fiancé, we were childhood friends and he promised to married me when we will turn twenty years old but I caught him with another woman on a compromising situation. I left him and had moved on but at every occasion he come to harass me. I didn't know that he could try to hurt me." Kuon was having a hard time no passing Maria to Kyoko before following the bastard and strangled him. But he knew that Kyoko was more important at his moment, he will deal this the bastard later. He was trying to find a better conversation when his eyes came across Kyoko's gem making his eyes soften "you have a really beautiful gem" Kyoko brightly smiled "It's a present of a friend of mine when I was younger. He was a really precious friend but one day he disappeared" Kuon smiled a little painfully. "If he were to come back, will you forgive him for leaving you?" Kyoko tilted her head thinking hard "Yes, I will. I'm sure he had a good reason."
Kuon's heart skipped a beat at the answer. He grabbed the gem and whispered "You make it into a beautiful pendant, I hope it had helped you with your tears and fear."
Kyoko looked up wide eyes and Kuon smiled. She whispered back still in shock "Corn?" Kuon boyish grinned and answered "Yes, even if it is more KUON"
Kyoko blushed but smiled before hugging him tightly. Kuon's heart beat so loudly that he barely heard Kyoko said "I missed you so much!" He wrapped his arm around her and replied "I missed you too Kyoko and now that I find you again I'll never let you go again." Kyoko took another shade of red. Few minutes later and Kyoko was squirming under his arm and he released her with difficulties. He stood up with Maria in one arm and he present his other hand at Kyoko "We should go back, everyone will worry" Kyoko nodded before taking the offering hand.
They began walking toward the castle when they heard mumble. Intrigued, they went near the voices and saw Kanae and Yashiro whispering before they threw at each other furiously kissing. Kyoko blushed and Kuon smirked before making them quietly leave the couple behind.
They entered the ballroom and Kyoko looked around. She saw Shiori in great conversation with one of the Ishibashi's cousin, the royal couple few feet on their left but no sign of her parents. She was going to ask Kuon when he leaded her toward his parents. When they arrived they were greet by smile and the royal couple exchange an amused glance at the scene before them. They were guaranteed with a glare by their son.
"If you will pardon me, I'm looking for my parents. Maria is asleep and it's late. I think it's time for us to go home" Kuon smile dropped at Kyoko's words. His parents taking pity of him said "Do not worry my dear, it was agreed that you and your family stay here for the nigh. Your father and we had time to catch up." The queen turned to her son and added "Why don't you show our guest to their bedroom and put the little one in bed." Kuon nodded and Kyoko barely had the time to court before he dragged her outside and to the 2ND floor. They enter a bedroom. Kuon put the little girl on the bed and stepped aside for Kyoko to removed Maria's shoes, belt, putted away her hairs' pin and to covert her with a blanket. She kissed her forehead and whispered goodnight.
She went to the door lowering the light and Kuon took her hand again. She blushed but didn't fight back. They both walked down the corridor when a thought suddenly crossed Kyoko's mind. "If your friend hurt my sister, I'll personally haunt him down and cursed him to death" Kuon smirked and replied "After what we saw, I'm sure your sister is capable of taking care of him herself" Kyoko looked away from him in embarrassment at the passionate kiss memory.
Kuon leaded her to a library and made them sat down on a couch in front of a fireplace. Kyoko threw him a confused look and he answered with a shrug and said "I just want to talk to you some more" She nodded and asked "What do you want to talk about? "
He squeezed her hand and after a deep breath said "Allow me to take care of your heart" When she tried to take her hand back, he urgently said "I know you are afraid, that you surly hate me for leaving you when we were younger but I can promise you with everything I have that I will never do it again. But I loved the little girl that treat me as a human being, that smiled at me and made me laugh and I fell in love with the young woman that dance with me, that is fierce in protecting her sisters and that keep preciously my gem that I give her years ago. I know that you had a difficult love with that jerk but I'm not him. I'll take care of you and treasure you. And maybe you didn't know it but you already have my heart in your hands" He looked down afraid to see rejection in her eyes but few minutes later he felt a delicate hand touching his cheek. He looked up and locked eyes with beautiful amber one full of understanding and care "I'm not really at ease with love but if it's you I can try" He quickly stood, picked her up and spun them around while laughing. He finally put her down to hug her thanking her for giving him a chance. She smiled happily at him and grabbed his hand "We need to go down to the ball is going to end and I don't want my sisters to be alone" He nodded and leaded her downstairs and into the ballroom.
Half of the guest had already left and they crossed the ballroom without incident thank to their holding hands acting as a repulsive on single woman.
They arrived at the table where her two sisters where sitting. Shiori and Kanae greet their sister and her companion, staring openly at their join hands. They looked up and Kanae asked "Well?" Kyoko only smiled. Both Shiori and Kanae glared at the prince and simultaneously said "Prince or not, you made her cry and you are died" Kuon bowed to the girls accepting their threat. When he looked up again he saw her beloved wearing a sweet smile and looking innocent "Kanae?" When the said girl looked at her she said in a teasing voice "Where is your gallant?" Kanae blushed and Shiori looked surprised but smirked and exchange a look with Kyoko "Gallant? Who is this man that made my cold heart sister blush?" Kanae glared at both of them but Kyoko threw the last blow "oh! It's Kuon's bestfriend, you know the one with glasses. They were kissing in the garden" Shiori and Kyoko looked at Kanae taking another shade of red before they both tease "Kissing!"
Kuon tugged Kyoko's hand and she saw him looking at something on their left, she looked too and saw just few feet away a blushing Yashiro. Kuon smiled at his friend "Come on Yashiro, it's just teasing" Yashiro shook his head but came to them and put his arm around the still blushing Kanae. Shiori grinned at her sister and said "You don't need to blush so much. Kanae, Kyoko and I both saw that you couldn't stop looking at him all the time since we enter this ballroom" Kyoko laughed at her sister discomfort. Kanae not fond of being tease smirked and said "Shiori you are the last one without a special someone by your side. Do you need help?" Kanae smirked while Shiori smiled with a tenderly look in her eyes and replied "Sorry Kanae, but I'm already engaged and I'm sure my fiancé couldn't be happy that you try to make me go out with some else" Kyoko and Kanae were both dumb "Who? When? Why?" Shiori teased them "Yuusei Ishibashi, tonight, because we love each other" Kyoko a little hurt ask "Why didn't you told us that you love him?" Shiori looked at Kyoko "You were hurt because of that jerk. I didn't want to hurt you more. And I will have told you at some point! Yuusei and I planned to be married in three month" A what was echoing inside the ballroom making the people still here looking toward two girls wearing flashy pink dresses hitting a third one.

Sitting next to her fiancé Kuon, Kyoko was smiling at her sister and her husband. She watched amusedly her father crying his eyes out and her mother harassing Kanae and Yashiro to also tie the knot. Kyoko looked up at Kuon and saw him looked back at her with love. She put her head on his shoulder and asked "Do you think that our marriage will be as beautiful as this one?" Kuon's eyes widen in surprise and he dropped a kiss on her forehead before replied "Our will be better because I'll be going to marry the most beautiful woman of the world and just this fact made it so much better" Kyoko laughed, she looked right and left and seeing no one looking at them, kissed him passingly but they were rapidly interrupt by snickers coming from Kanae and Yashiro.

It was the big day for Kyoko. She was nervous and her mother was fusing around arranging make-up and hair. Kanae and Shiori were both smiling at them. They talked and teased Kyoko until she finally relaxed. She was interrupt by Maria throwing herself in the room saying "It is time! It's time! Oh! And father had a surprise for you!" Kyoko stood up and went to Maria. She gave her a hug and said "Lead the way, flower girl" Maria smiled and went toward her father taking her basket full of eggs from him.

Kuon was wake up by giggle next to him. He turn around and put his arm around his beloved "Why are you laughing, Honey?" Kyoko looked over her shoulder and said still laughing "Please, when we'll going to marry, prevent father and the president to wear chicken suit and put eggs instead of flower on Maria's Basket."
Kuon looked confused at his fiancée. Kyoko shrugged "I had a weird dream. Do you want me to tell you? My dear Prince?" Kuon smiled and nodded, fully awake and waiting for he is sure a really good story.
