Just a one shot I've been thinking about for a while. Enjoy!
He just couldn't resist it. Visiting his archenemy's grave. But perhaps it would have been better if he didn't…
Moriarty stood in front of Sherlock's grave.
"I hope you realize I won." He said with a sadistic grin. "I'm still alive. And you're not."
He frowned. "But now I've got to go back to playing with the ordinary people. Oh, well." He reached out and patted the grave stone. "It was fun while it lasted."
Moriarty's phone vibrated. He looked at it. It was a text.
Who said it was over? SH
Moriarty's eyes widened. He looked around the graveyard. He texted back.
Are you watching me? Stalker. ;D JM
He waited for a reply. He got one.
Are you scared? SH
Should I be? :o JM
Yes. I would be, if I was going to die. SH
I'm not scared. ;P So how did you do it? Fake your death. JM
I think a better question is, how would you like to die? For real, I mean. SH
BOOOM! Explosion. It's more meeeeee. :D Now how did you do it?! I'm DYING to know. JM
So be it. Goodbye, so soon, Moriarty. SH
Moriarty was about to reply, when he became aware of a beeping sound. He looked behind the grave stone. He didn't even have time to curse Sherlock.
Three, two, one…
John's phone was ringing and he picked it up and looked at it. It was Lestrade.
He answered it. "What do you want, Lestrade?"
"I was just calling because…Well, something happened at the graveyard where Sherlock was buried."
It was still hard for John to think about what happened to Sherlock. "What happened?"
"Somebody rigged up an IED and set it off at his grave." Lestrade said. "There are some remains here. Human remains. The current theory is that the bomber got caught in the explosion."
"Sounds like he got what was coming to him." John replied, and hung up the phone.
A few days after, John got a text. And swore.
John, when were you planing to tell me that you MOVED OUT OF THE FLAT!? SH
PS, Moriarty is dead.
PPS, where's my violin?
R&R, please!
