Juliet is a girl from France who has grown up in Japan. She and Keiichi are close friends and love classical music. He plays the violin while she plays a violin and piano. "I hear there is a concert tonight. Are you in it, Juliet?" Keiichi asks. "Yes. But the concert is in Paris. That's why I'm leaving now." Juliet says to him while walking out the door. "Wait. I'll come too." "Keiichi you don't have to do that. I'll be just fine on my own. if this works I'll be in the music school for sure. teaching younger children to learn music is my dream." Keiichi still followed her to her plan.
"So what are you playing?" "The piano. A song by Beethoven. I think it's Moonlight. The only song I love to hear on the piano. That's why the violin is my number one instrument." Juliet said. She grew up with the violin and all the music. "Are you nervous?" She smiled at him. "Nope. Not anymore." Soon the plane landed and they made their way to the school.
"This place is huge." "Yes. I know. It's just breathtaking." Juliet smiles at everything around her. "Juliet. We are waiting for you." Said a man. She waved goodbye to Keiichi and headed to the stage. Taking a deep breath she waited till they called her name. Keiichi is watching you. You better make him proud to be his friend. She told herself.
The announced Juliet's name and she walked right out on stage. Her dress reached the floor and her flats didn't make a sound. She bowed before setting up her things and sitting to begin playing. SHe saw Keiichi in the audience and he was smiling. With a breath, Juliet began. SHe played it so beautifully everyone just stopped. Time was now frozen as she played her music. The melody flows from her fingertips to the air flying everywhere in the room. She played until the very end and even then the music didn't stop. Claps and cheers came from every person in the room.
Back on the plane, Keiichi played some of his violin music and it drifted Juliet off to sleep "I'm proud of you, Juliet. My musical maiden.' He said kissing her head.
