This happens to me every time. But, the most recent time I got new glasses, only one of my friends noticed with me having to tell them so, I'm dedicating this story to Abby, even though she doesn't watch anime. LUV YOU ABBY :D

Glasses

Yukari grabbed her brother's arm just as he was about to leave the apartment. "Kairi! Kairi! Kairi! Look!" She shouted happily. Kairi stared at his sister, dumbfounded as there was nothing to look at.

"Look at what, onee-chan?" He asked. Yukari smiled at him expectantly. Kairi still didn't get it and Yukari was starting to get impatient.

"I got new glasses Kairi!" She finally told him. Realization dawned him, and then the clock caught his eye.

"Ah that's nice, but I have to go now bye nee-chan!" He called back as he ran down the street. Yukari huffed. She had spent some time picking out a cute frame. Yukari glanced at the clock. 9:00, mind as well go to work. She grabbed her purse and key from the counter and left out the door.

The Studio

"Sanjou-san!" Utau exclaimed, getting up from where she was sitting. Her guest waved his hand in greeting.

"Yo." Kukai smiled. Yukari looked at the boy, then at Utau, who turned pink.

"Well I hope I wasn't interrupting anything." The woman said slyly. Utau looked flustered.

"What are you doing her so early?" She asked trying to change the subject. Yukari shrugged. Then remember something. She leaned her head in close.

"Noticed anything different?" She asked grinning. Kukai gave a typical guy answer.

"Did you do something with your hair…?" Yukari scowled at the boy.

"No." Then she turned to Utau. The popstar stared at her manager intently.

"You changed your eyeliner color." Utau declared confidently. Yukari slapped her forehead.

"NO! Well yes but, it's not that." Yukari pointed to her face. "I got new glasses!" She cheered happily. Utau looked at her with an eyebrow raised and a pout.

"Oh." She said plopping back down on the couch next to Kukai. An awkward silence enveloped the three.

"……You wanna go get some ramen?" Kukai suggested. Utau got up and reached for her things

"Ok." She agreed, and the two teens ran out of the studio making declarations and arguments on who was going to win. Or something along those lines. Yukari sat down at her desk and rested her chin on it. She blew a huff of air that made her hair fly up.

"Nobody is noticing my glasses…" She mumbled. There was a sudden knock on the door. Yukari glanced at it, already guessing who was there. "Come in." She called. A tall figure with messy hair stepped inside. He looked at the woman across the room.

"You feeling ok?" He asked. Yukari picked up her head and smiled halfheartedly at the man, closing her eyes.

"Yeah, I'm fine, Yuu." She answered, as she opened her eyes his face was very close to hers and she jumped back in surprise. "Wh-wha-what are you doing?!" She accused. Yuu studied her face carefully. The was a moment of silence. "…Yuu?"

"I like your new glasses." The man replied, smiling cutely like a little boy.

Yukari looked ready to cry tears of joy.

Yuu is just too cute sometimes :3 And if anybody read the latest chapter they are so cute! And Kairi pwns ;D
