I sat listening to the last instructions from Mrs. Saotome. The bell rung in my ears even when it stopped. I slowly gathered my things and walked out the door of the classroom. I glued my eyes down to my phone, not looking any other direction. I exited the building and continued walking home. With both middle school and high school students flushing out the building, several trampled over me and others. I put on my earbuds and went slowly walked home.

I finally reached the door to my apartment. Before I could unlock it, Madoka ran in front of me.
"What are you doing here?" I stopped at my front door, Madoka stood between me and the door.
"I'm sorry I followed you home, Homura." She said panting, her face was red.
"Why did you follow me here?" My voice turned stiff. I then realized the ring on her hand. After all my warnings, why did she sign the contract with Kyubey?
"I'm sorry, I just needed to tell you. I became a magical girl." Her voice sounded rushed.
"Why would you?" pain ached my chest and I felt like crying. I held back the tears and tried to face Madoka.
"I contracted a kiss." She told me with a soft voice. I felt the heat rushing to my face. A kiss with whom?
"Wha-? With who?" I said, my voice sounding shaky. Madoka giggled.
"You." She traced the rim of my lips with her finger and she kissed me. The softness of her lips hit me first. Madoka gripped onto my shoulders, making me unable to escape her kiss. I embraced it and I softened up.
"You idiot." I quietly mumbled, and I kissed her back.
