wishfull thinking

Roxas sighed as he stared into the sunset from atop Twilight town's clocktower. He was miserable, unconsolable, all of his friends hadtried to cheer him up, to no avail. they just didn't get it, no one but Sora did. even he couldn't cheer up the blond.

"It's been a week", He thoughtnumbly, a week since Axel had young Nobody refused to beleive his best friend was de- gone, yes thats the word, gone. he couldn't be, Axel had promised that they were going to be together forever, that no matter how long they were seperated Axel would always find him. he was about to give in to his greif when a voice from behind him sais, " I told ya i'd find my way back. Got it memorized?"

Roxas spun around, tears gleaming in his cerulean orbs, to see a figure swathed in a black hooded cloak. He bounded forward, tackle-hugging him, causing the hood to fall. "Axel", Roxas murmered gazing into the seafoam eyes of his favorite redheaded pyro, " where have you been? I thought I'd lost you."

"That doesn't matter now", axel said, returning the blond's hug, " all that matters now is that I'm here and never going to leave you again"

" It sure took long enough to find him", Riku grumbled from his position on an adjacent rooftop, wrapping an arm around the brunet sitting beside him. " It was worth it though, you know it was, to see two best friends reunited at last.", sora replied, laying his head on Riku's shoulder. Riku sighed, lookin down at the two below him in a tender embrace, a small smile crept up his face as he relized Sora was right, it was worth it.
