I am waiting for Charlie. My heart is racing, my thoughts blurring. Today is my first date with Charlie, which just so happens to be my first date ever. I am in the library in dark blue jeans, which are skintight against my legs, a brown shirt, loose but not baggy, paired with black hiking boots. Why I chose hunting boots, I don't know. "Hey Sera." He says when he stands before me, flashing his Chesire grin that makes everyone swoon. "Hey Char." I say with a smile. He takes my hand my heart flutters. I may be a Slytherin, but I don't act like one. That is why Slytherin guys don't like me. He leads me to an area near the lake that is surrounded by trees. It is a beautiful place. With the trees in the background and the sun setting over the water. "Where are we supposed to sit?" "On the ground. I heard it's nice this time of year." "If it's so nice why aren't you sitting on it?" I say with a laugh.
All we do is talk. Charlie is fun to be around. And he says the most random things. When talking about family I say, "I used to think that my older cousin, Marcello, was a prince. I was five and he said he was so I believed him." He smiles at that. "And sometimes I wonder if my cousin is an ape in disguise but I don't let it bother me too much." Charlie laughs. I love his laugh, it's so…real, I guess. Our evening ends when Charlie craves our names into a tree with his wand.
