Here is a new story!!! My friend Jodea Moondreamer came up with the plot
bunny and in conversation we decided that we would both write a fic and see

"For your assignments I have chose various service projects for you to partake in." said the teacher. She started to list the names of people and telling them what their projects would be. "The last five of you; Seto, Yami, Bakura, Mai and Marik; you will all be working at the same place. I would like to see you after class."
Then the bell rang and the rest of the class left. The five stayed behind, waiting eagerly, or not so eagerly, to get their assignment.
"You five were chosen for this project because I believe that you are mature enough to handle it. You will leave each day at the time you would normally arrive in this class to go to the Mental Institution for the Socially Inapt." The teacher explained. "Today there is a bus waiting for you. There will be a bus here everyday. Do not miss it! At the institute you will get your assignments."
With that she led them out to where the bus was waiting for them in front of the school. The ride was mostly quiet. Yami was nervous about going to a mental hospital. 'Wouldn't that be dangerous?' he thought.
On the other hand, Marik and Bakura were excited and were merrily whispering plans on how to get in as much trouble as they could.
When they arrived, they were led into a small classroom. Here stood a short red-haired lady wearing a white lab coat.
"My name is Dr. Dipcrok." she said cheerily. "I will be in charge of you from 1:30 to 6:00 everyday-including weekends-for the next nine weeks. At this institution we try to rehabilitate youths with various social problems so that they can maintain a healthy lifestyle in the real world. We..." She continued talking but none of them paid much attention to her. Marik and Bakura were busy making rude faces and hand gestures at the doctor while Seto had taken out his laptop and started working. Mai was filling her nails and Yami was looking though his deck.
"Ok!" the doctor said finally. "Let's go and meet our partners!" She led them to a large room filled with big puffy chairs and low tables. There were five teens of various ages scattered across the room.
Sitting in the farthest corner was a sandy haired boy with tan skin. He wore a sleeveless hoodie and kaki pants. He sat in one of the chairs reading a rather large book.
On the opposite side of the room sat a boy with raggedy yellow blonde hair. He sat glaring at the space in front of him, every so often mumbling something under his breath.
Towards the middle of the room sat a small girl. She was younger looking than most of the boys. She looked like the raggedy blonde but was much better groomed.
Near her sat a short boy with big eyes and spiky hair. He was shuffling a well worn deck of playing cards over and over. It looked like he was mesmerized by the card's movement. Then he looked towards the strangers and smiled.
Nearest to the group of students sat a boy with white blonde hair. He was extremely thin and frail looking, but at the same time seemed to be the most normal of the group. In his hands he held a strange deck of cards. He greeted the others with a smile.
"Yami, you will be paired with Yugi, the boy there with the tri-coloured hair. Marik, you will be paired with Malik, the boy with the book." Dr. Dipcrok said pushing them towards their partners. "Mai, you will be paired with Serenity. Seto you are partnered with Joey, the blonde boy. And Bakura, you will be paired with Ryou. Go on then! Get to know each other!"
With that she left them alone to talk.
