Dearest readers,

I am writing this author's note for many reasons, and one of them is to forewarn you of what is to come out of this story. I am truly sorry for those who were eager to read something exhilarating to enlighten their mood, but bear with me. So I hope you do continue reading this, for I have both good and bad news to share to you all.

This story will be an Alternate Universe (AU) fic, using only the canon characters of the Prince of Tennis. I will not be adding in any of my Own Characters (OC), since it would not be as dramatic as I write this story out. However, because of the plotline, the POT cast may be slightly Out Of Character (OOC), so forgive me on that. Now, you all may be wondering what the plotline is. This story will be based on some of the many wars that have occurred during the time Earth has existed, with slight variations to it. I will also be incorporating a little game in which my English teacher created – the Identity game. Whether you have heard of it or not, it is not too relevant to know when reading this story.

When I had thought of this idea, I had come to realize that my story may be offensive to others. Because some of the characteristics to be written will have to deal with the different wars occurred, some of you may find it heartbreaking just to hear what I am going to write, and I don't want that to happen. Anyone who finds themselves crying or emotionally breaking down in any other way because of the painful experiences of war, whether you have been part of it or not, should stop reading my story at this point of time and completely forget about it.

War is a topic in which we speak of every day, so it's not the highlight of the news. However, war affects all of us personally in a unique way, and because of that I want to respect everyone's wishes, whatever they may be. It is already painful for me to know that you are breaking down because of my horrific writing (to come), so if you feel any insecurity or anger within your feelings, feel free to flame me in your review, or send a private message. If I receive more complaints than I thought I would, I will entirely stop writing this series and delete the story itself, and continue writing other works to my pleasure.

I really love writing, which is one part of my inspiration for this. Another was from my English project at school, where we had to research anything about any war. I had chosen to analyze the perspective of someone who has actually fought in a war. I found out many things that were both surprising and devastating, and I have come to realize that each person's own experience with a war is as painful and destructive as any other. Therefore, I wish to warn you about what is to be written in this story.

I thank you all for reading my author's note regarding my newest story, "Identity Game". I truly hope all of you will enjoy my newest work, although I should be working on my other ones.
