Unlikely Love
Ryoken was currently on a train going to the plaza in Den City in order to get some shopping done for himself. Despite being the second in command of the knights of Hanoi the seventeen year old still has to live a normal life while at the same time continuing with his fathers plans in destroying the ignis in he was so close to doing four years ago but one of the ignis hid the cyberse world and escaped and so far his father and the other knights were unable to go back into the cyberse world. But Ryoken wouldn't give up that easily all they have to do is to find that ignis that his the cyberse world and use him to locate the world in order to destroy him and the rest of the ignis before they destroy the rest of humanity. Everything was going smoothly in a way but slowly over the past few weeks a guy that goes by the name of Playmaker has been getting in the way of their plans but Ryoken considers him a small threat at best should he become a threat in the future he will handle it personally.
He then sigh talking about the hanoi plans were becoming stressful even though he is committed in fulfilling out his fathers ambitions it was nice in a way to just enjoy a nice and peaceful day here in the city even though he was just going shopping. Ryoken looked around the train and noticed their were a few people inside the train but what caught his eye the most was that he was sitting across a girl that could very well be his enemy in the future. The girl had short brow hair and brown eyes and was wearing a yellow dress and a short blue jacket and she was carrying a white purse this girl was Aoi Zaizen younger sister of Akira Zaizen who was the head of security of SOL technologies. She also goes by the name of Blue Angel in link vrains who is currently one of the top duel idols in the world.
Ryoken never thought he would see her on a train but here she is but there was something that Ryoken noticed about Aoi when he looks at her. She looks so distant that its like she ignoring everything around her and at the same time she looks a bit depressed for some reason and Ryoken thought such a look doesn't suit her pretty face. "Wait what am I'm saying" Ryoken thought he shook his head he finds it a bit strange as Blue Angel she is usually so positive and happy and enjoys performing in front of her fans but as Ryoken looks at her she anything but that "no surprise there who we are online is completely different from who we are in the real world she must be keeping this facade to get away from what's going on in her life" Ryoken summarize.
Still he don't know why but the more he looks at Aoi the more he wants to at least talk to her he could just ignore her but something in his heart is telling him to go talk to her. "Although I could talk to her and I might get some valuable information from her" Ryoken said ignoring the feeling he has for the girl. Ryoken then got up from his seat and walked over to Aoi. "Hey do you mind if I sit next to you?" Ryoken asked Aoi snapping her from her thoughts. "I'm sorry?" Aoi said to Ryoken causing the older teen to chuckle a bit "I said do you mind if I sit next to you" he said as he gave Aoi a small smile causing Aoi to look at him a bit before shaking her head.
"No not at all you can sit next to me" Aoi calmly said "thank you" Ryoken said as he sat next to didn't say anything for a minute before asking "you seemed like you were distracted by something was there anything on your mind?" Ryoken asked as he turn his head to look at Aoi. Aoi looked back at blinked at Ryoken as if she wasn't expecting for him to keep talking to her and as Aoi looked at him she felt a bit scared due to his icy cold blue eyes but at the same time she couldn't take her eyes off of him. "Umm no not really...I guess I kind of zone out a bit" Aoi said as she looked down towards the ground causing Ryoken to soften his eyes out of concern for the girl "wait concern!" Ryoken thought but he quickly push those thoughts to the side.
"Are you sure that's their nothing bothering you?" Ryoken asked Aoi looked at him and noticed that there was a bit of concern in his eyes which confuse her but made her heart flutter why was he so concern over when they only met each other a couple of minutes ago Aoi didn't understand but none the less she smiled "yes I'm fine thank you" she said to Ryoken. "Its no problem at all it just look like you were trouble by something and believe me I'm dealing with my fair share of troubles" Ryoken said. "Really" Aoi said "of course everyone goes through some troubles eventually but sometimes its better to talk about them so that way you can feel a bit better its no good to bottle up everything" Ryoken said "I should really take my own advice" he thought.
"I see you do have a point uh I'm sorry I didn't catch your name?" Aoi said to Ryoken. Ryoken thought about it if he told her his real name there a chance she could tell her brother and thus telling SOL tech which could put the knights entire plan at risk. "Its Ryo my name is Ryo" Ryoken said to Aoi as he held out his hand to Aoi which she glad took and shook it. "Aoi smile its nice to meet you Ryo if you don't mind me asking where are you heading off too?" Aoi asked the older teen. "I was actually heading out to the plaza and do some shopping and this is the only way I can travel since I live outside of the city" Ryoken answered with a small causing All heartbeat to increase.
"I see do you go to school then you look like you could be a second or third year" Aoi said she doesn't know why but she really want to get to know Ryo more maybe it was because he went out of his way to talk to her unlike most people. "No I'm actually home schooled...my father he pretty much taught me everything I know" Ryoken said as he had a sad look in his eyes which didn't go unnoticed by Aoi before he straighten his face. "What about you Aoi you go to school?" Ryoken asked "yeah I'm currently at my third year of middle school it won't be long until I start high school" she replied. "I see well I hope you do well school Aoi but I don't think that's a problem for you" Ryoken said as Aoi chuckled a bit "well no I usually have very good grades well I have to otherwise my brother would be angry" Aoi sighed a bit
After that moment the train stopped "looks like we arrived at our destination" Ryoken said as he got up from his seat "do you need help getting up" he gave Aoi his hand which caused her to blush s bit "yes thank you Ryo" Aoi said as Ryo helped her from her seat and the two got out of the train."So Aoi do you live around here?" Ryoken asked and she nodded "I do I actually live a few minutes away so I can pretty much walk from here" Aoi said as she and Ryoken walked out of the train station. "I see so I guess this is where we part ways then" Ryoken said a bit sad he wouldnt talk to Aoi after this "wait why am I sad!" he thought. "Yeah" Aoi sadly said it a shame she enjoyed talking to Ryoken and didn't want to leave him.
"I need to stop this I need to stop" Ryoken thought as he might regret his actions when he said this " how about we exchanged numbers we can talk or text on the phone and maybe we can plan a meeting where we can hang out whenever we have free time" Ryoken said. "Are you asking me out on a date Ryo?" Aoi teased causing Ryoken to widen his eyes in surprise "of course not I'm just saying we can just hang out and get to know each other it doesn't have to be a date!" Ryoken said as he quickly defended himself causing Aoi to giggle. "I know I was just kidding" Aoi said as he smiled causing Ryoken to smile back. "Didn't know you were the kind to joke like that Aoi" he said with a smile.
"Well I guess you bring that out of me" she said "I suppose" he calmly replied while he smiled and closed his eyes. "Well I better get going Ill see you later Ryo I'll text you later" Aoi said as she started to walk away from the area "you too Aoi" Ryoken said as he did the same and started heading for the plaza with a smile on his face but he frowned. "I actually enjoyed talking with Aoi I can admit that but at the end this is secondary to me and getting information from her is a bonus I need to remind myself that our goals of killing the ignis comes first nothing else matters" Ryoken said as he was heading towards the plaza and during that time he couldn't stop thinking about the brown haired girl in Aoi Zaizen.
A/N: Hey everybody hope you enjoyed this story I actually had this idea running in my head for awhile now I actually think Ryoken and Aoi would be a interesting pairing to write about and I thought I should give it a try although I'm not that good at writing romance stories so I hope you guys really like it because as of right now this story is a one shot but if people like it enough I will continue it.
