In 1127, the djinn asks a Persian emperor to make his second wish. When the emperor wishes to see wonders, the djinn uses his powers to torture and mutilate people in the palace. The emperor is horrified, but the djinn tells him to use his third wish to set things right. Before the emperor can make his third wish, a sorcerer explains the consequences of the third wish and reveals a lamp which pulls the djinn inside and traps him.
In present-day Grimsborough, workers lowering a box containing an antique statue of onto a ship. The crane operator is and drops the box, destroying the statue and buried the jewelry into the ground. Scott goes to university to meet Andy Jackson, a folklore professor, who explains the history of the gem and the djinn; the djinn grants wishes in exchange for souls, but the wishes are granted in a way that makes them have undesirable results upon the wisher, Scott tell Abby and Sam how about this. At the same time, Ryan meet his school bullied victim, Willy Jean who happened that he was bullied by Ryan since elementary school, and he wanted to revenge for bullying. Ryan goes to examine it, which wakes the djinn. He sees something inside the jewel and decided analyze. As he is collecting data, the gem explodes, destroying the lab and releasing the djinn.Scott and the others come forth to see the djinn, who shoots himself in the head with a gun but his wound heals instantly, revealing the djinn is an immortal. Recognized that was his ancestor's assistant, Jean goes to begged the djinn to be his assistant since bullied. Agreed by Jean's wishes, the djinn casts a spell on Ryan and suddenly he is transformed to an ugly old small man in early fifty. The djinn explains that he took away Ryan's youths and will not give them back unless he apologizes to Jean. Ryan refuses to, and so the djinn teleports Scott and the others out of Jean's way. Scott tries to help Ryan get his youths back, but now that Ryan is powerless, he is lazier than ever.
Ryan's lifestyles getting much worsen up such as losing his winning in racing, failing to catching the animals that they escaped, being beaten up by kid bullies, even he loses Abby to a billionaire named Josh Bean who took her as his girlfriend. That week Ryan wakes up in terrible back pain and goes to the bathroom as he cried in distress. Then Scott come forth and asked him that Josh had invited him to a luxury fast food restaurant called Super Buffet which run by millionaire couple, the Hungers. Suddenly, it turned out to be a giant trolls appears from their true forms and kidnaps Abby (after a rampage), taking her to dungeon to make her as a slaved employees or else they will leaving him as food for their hatchlings. Abby is unable to fight back, however, because she hads been knocked unconscious by the couple's sludge attack.
Ryan tries to rescue Abby but is too lazy to climb up the tree and even asks for help to get up there. With no choice, Ryan begged Scott for what he had done about Abby. Panicking, Scott consults Jackson and learns that the only thing that can restore Ryan and banished the djinn now is to wishes to undo the problems. So Ryan and Scott decides to go back to the djinn and apologize to Jean. Jean allows Ryan to get into his house, now manor since he was billionaire, but djinn refuses to accept Ryan's apology, as he took too much time. Now the djinn makes Ryan do humiliating stunts, like slow-dancing with his subconscious of his mother with flowers in his underwear. But then, Ryan's subconscious of Mama Tattletaildies, as he was the subconscious of Ryan's true Tattletail form. Sad that his subconscious of Mama Tattletail is dead and his girlfriend is going to be eaten by giant monsters, Ryan begins to cry about what will happen to him. The djinn, planting cupcakes, murmurs, "Let this be a lesson to you, cupcakes."Thinking Ryan learned his lesson, the djinn gives Ryan a three wishes; the first wish, To turned Ryan back to his youth but turned into a 8 feet tall monsters with cat ears replacing his human ears, sprouting his tail and his fingers, now fours like scary claws; second wish, to get revenge on Jean by killing him when he wished that Jean was never be born; and the final was his Subconscious of Mama Tattletail comes back to life. Scott manages to uses the lamp that Jackson gave him to trapping the djinn inside again.
Abby wakes up in th factory and she realized that she is threatened to be eaten by the hatchling. To save herself, Abby sells, her hairs, tooth, clothes, scythe to earn debts but it too late about to be eaten by hatchings. Ryan come confronts the troll couple. He kills the troll wife and scaring off the hatchling as the two fight. First by throwing things at each other, then a painting contest (which Ryan wins by painting the real-life Mona Lisa), and finally Ryan uses a giant slingshot to launch giant pizzas into Mr. Hunger's mouth after he climbs on top of the Eiffel Tower. Ryan ultimately claims victory after overfeeding Mr. Hunger, making him crash off the tower and reverted to a giant baby.
Afterward, Ryan took now a illness Abby back home while treating her back since he loved her so much while giving Jean's shirt as clothing for her. Abby, thinking that Ryan was monster fearfully as she screaming in fright by his monstrous form. Ryan tried to comforted her immediately only to discover Abby died, his heartbroken forcing him to cook her body as a funeral. As Abby was already dead, Ryan runs away to forest depressingly. Meanwhile Scott finds Mr. Hunger (still a baby) has become menu as revenge for causing enslaving.
