When Midnight Glow finds out that Starlight is her cousin, she and her friend Dawn Twinkle spend Hearthswarming with her and the mane six. Little did they know that Midnight and Dawns magical abilities were enough to challenge Twilight's.

Dawn Twinkle's P.O.V.

Hi. My name is Dawn Twinkle. I am a unicorn with a gray coat, golden eyes, and a ruby red wavy mane. My cutie mark is a batch of glowing yellow stars in the constellation of a sun. My best friend is Midnight Glow. She has a bright purple coat, dark purple eyes, and a long, curly black mane. Her cutie mark is a dark lavender full moon with a smiling face, and white stars circling it in a wide circle around the moon. Since we were both so great at magic, we called ourselves The Magic Sisters. We met at Magaia Wand's Academy For Unicorns. We had been dormmates since year one, and became great friends. Anyways, enough description, on to the story!

"Hey Dawn?" Midnighr Glow asked me walking back from Rarity 4 U one winter afternoon.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"Does the name 'Starlight Glimmer' ring a bell?" I stopped dead in my trot. It did. Where? I do not know.

"I do," I said nervously. "Why?"

"I found out that she's my cousin!" Midnight exclaimed. "and she asked me if I wanted to spend Hearthswarming break with her and Twilight and her friends ponyville, and I said sure! Then I asked if I could bring a friend, and she said yes! So, wanna come!?" I laughed as I began trotting along side her again.

"Of course I can!" I replied. "My aunt and uncle are going to be out of town during break anyways. So I'd love to come along!" We trotted back to MWAU, and started packing.

"Midnigt Glow and Dawn Twinkle to the office please," Principle Magaia said over the loudspeaker once we finished packing. "Bring your things please, and thank you!" the speaker turned off. Midnight faced me and shrugged. We grabbed our bags, then raced toward the office.

"Midnight, Dawn," Magai said. "This is Starlight Glimmer," she pointed her hoof to a light lavendar colored mare with a curly purple mane and teal streaks. She also had indigo-violet eyes. She waved slightly at us.

"Hi," Starlight began. "I'm Garlight Stimmer! I mean, Starimmer!" she face hoofed. "Starlight Glimmer. I'm Starlight Glimmer." She smiled. "You fillies ready to go?"

"Yes!" Midnight and I screamed in unision. Starlight laughed, then we left.

"How are we getting to Ponyville?" I asked Starlight.

"Well, I guess to get to ponyville," she began. "We have to take the Ponyville Express!" I stopped in my tracks.

"What's wrong Dawn?" Midnight asked.

"I've never ridden a train before," I told them, and tried not to cry.

"Oh, it's not that bad Dawn!" Midnight cried. "It's simple! You just give the conductor your ticket, you sit down. Halfway through the ride, you can buy sweets, and then you arrive! Easy peasy!" I giggled. Leave it to Midnight to make anything ordinary sound amazing.

"Ok, then," I told her, trotting again.

The train ride was just like Midnight said, and we arrived in Ponyville in three hours. Giggling and smiling, we got off the train. Waiting for us at the station was a purple mare with a dark purple mane and magenta streak. She also had purple eyes.

"Princess Twilight?" Midnight asked, beating me to it. The mare laughed.

"Yep," she told us. "And you two are staying in the castle."

Great, right?
