21 BBY, Endor System

Captain Hulum Nikonu of the Mgar's Tirade, a repurposed YV-929 freighter was having quite the strange morning. The female Weequay had woken up with a feeling that something... unusal would happen. Just how unusual though, well, she had no idea.

"Julis, use the tractor beam. Rope it into the cargo bay, but have a team of men down there in pressure suits. If we need to vent the atnosphere, I want it done without hesitation," Hulum ordered her navigations officer, really not much more than a techy in a pirate's outfit.

"Ma'am, are you sure? This starship isn't on the database. We don't kno-"

"Did I stutter?"

"No ma'am," Julis said as he activated the tractor beam and shifted the Tirade so the craft would drif into the cargo bay. Several moments later, a thud rang out as the craft hit the deck several compartments back.

"Security team, report," Hulum asked over her transponder

"Whatever it is, we read 5 lifesigns inside. Should we crack it open, Ma'am?" The lead pirate asked.

"Only if you have a backup team behind you"

"We do, ma'am"

"Ok, then bust her open. I'm on my way down," She commanded. Several moments later, she arrived to her main security team cutting through the walls of the ship they had picked up, a battered, tuning fork shaped starship with a smooth purple top and sides and a metalic, mechanical tan/grey underbelly. She looked it over, a battered but still fairly intact piece and smiled. It would fetch a nice sum on the black market.

"How long do we have until you can cut the side open?" She asked, with a loud clang and a yelp as her reply. She walked over to her crew to see they had cut the door open. On the other side were large, armored, tall, reptilian creatures with 4 mandibles, worm-like heads that leaned forward, and forward hinged legs.

"What. The hell. Are those?" One pirate said, being the only person to verbally express their shock. He aimed his blaster at the lead one, which was wearing a matte black armor suit with either black skin or a black bodysuit underneath. This got a reaction out of the Thing and it walked up to him and ripped the rifle from his hands as if it were no more than a toy in a weak child's arms.

"Stand down!" Hulum said, her blaster pistol now drawn at the creature, which responded with a bloodcurling roar as it leaned its head forward and splayed its mandibles before a taller one in white armor came up and slapped it with a purple weapon that resembled 2 purple cresents held together by a handle and nothing else. The white armorer creature stared her right in the face and made a click with its jaws before leading its 3 men to the edge of the hangar, looking out at the stars.

"Get the protocol droid down here," One crew member said to the intercom system right as Hulum was about to order the same thing. One of the creatures got up and went to the dropship, coming back with a small purple crate and a Strange creature that looked like a glowing blue eel glued to a bundle of blue/black balloons with some lanky tentacles haphazardly attached after. They returned to their group and worked with the crate until the Protocol droid came in.

"Hello. I am D-3P9, Human Cyborg Relations. Your species does not seem familiar to my records. Where are you from?" The protocol Droid asked

The floating eel creature responded with a flurry of hand signals. It led the droid to a computerr terminal before lodging a tentacle in it. Several minutes latee, it finay drew its arm out and moved the droid to it, before drifting off to its aliens.

"Oh. I see. This is quite eye opening. Captain, these aliens are either refugees or a scouting party gone wrong" The droid said after pulling itself away from the computer.

"Where are they from? Did they say?"

"Only that they are from a 'Milky Way', although the star charts they provided match those of the few charts of the unknown regions that we have"

"Really? Hmmm. Ok, leave me be in my cabin until further notice, Hulum said beforw walking off. Yes. very unusual indeed.
