Just another one-shot story~! It will have chapters though!

This journey is about a Growlithe named Zeek. And his best friend, a Poliwag named Ires.

Our journey begins on Cinnabar Island.

"Ires!" Zeek huffed and puffed as he ran toward the Poliwag.

"Hey, Zeek!" Ires chirped in excitement. They're journey was going to begin. A long…endless trip to the Hoenn region. Zeek pawed a rock toward her and she kicked it back. " This trip is going to be long…we have to avoid trainer!" Ires shivered in fear and hid behind the Mewtwo statue. They were inside the old abandoned Pokemon Mansion.

The Gastly hovered above them as they taunted other pokemon trainers that sought out to battle them.

"I know…Ires. This will be a dwelling adventure to the Hoenn region." Zeek sighed and went behind the statue with Ires. "We should get a good sleep before we head out tomorrow." Zeek rolled onto his belly and Ires nuzzled into him.

The next morning.

"Morning Ires!" Zeek herd no reply. He looked around franticly to see her no where in sight.

Ires popped out from above and landed on his head with a loud thud!

"You have such a hard head, Zeek." Ires giggled and shot water right at his muzzle.

Zeek growled and pawed at her. "Stop goofing off! We have to leave!" Growlithe looked around and grabbed his lucky necklace that had a Kings Rock attached to it.

Ires nodded and looked around to see if any trainers were near. "Coast's clear.". Zeek nodded and they started to walk toward the entrance of the Pokemon Mansion. Ires took a big gulp and looked at Zeek.

Zeek nodded and pushed the door open with his nose. A bright ray of light came shining into the Pokemon Mansion. Zeek and Ires were stunned for a moment and then shook it off. "Lets go" Ires nodded and they ran out of the Mansion and Zeek pushed it close with his head.

"Our ride is waiting for us. She's taking us to Pallet Town." Ires saw some Trainers draw close to them. "Lets hurry!" Ires squeaked and Zeek scurried off with her to see a strange pokemon waiting for them. "I'm Athena. A Lapras. I am your ride to Pallet Town." Athena smiled and turned around so her shell was facing them. Ires glanced behind her to see the trainers running toward them shouting to each other.

Zeek jumped onto Lapras's shell and Ires came next. The two trainers were at the edge of the Island when Athena started to swim away. One trainer threw his pokeball into the air and a Totodile zapped out. "TOTODILE! Use water gun!" The trainer pointed toward the moving pokemon and a big bullet of water was hurdling toward them when Poliwag slapped the water back with its tail and it recoiled the Totodile, making him faint. "Oh no! Totodile!" The trainer sobbed and picked up his pokemon and ran to the Pokemon Center.

Zeek and Ires cheered, "You showed them!" Zeek laughed and nipped her tail playfully. Ires shot a beam of water at him but not where it would cause him damage, when she looked straight ahead to see something above them . Her eyes grew wide. Zeek cocked his head to one side and looked above him to see a big wave about to crash down on them.
