I: Alive

When I first evolved I didn't know what to expect. Actually, I didn't even know that I was going to evolve. All I knew was that I wanted to fight by Guilmon's side, to redeem the wrong I had done. But when I did evolve, this surge of energy came through me.

I can't explain it.

It's like this onrush of fiery energy, running through your veins and taking over your senses. For a split second, you can't see anything but a blinding flash of light.

The next thing you know, your flesh is being bound, transformed into data, merging with another being. And then….

You become one with your partner.

At that moment, I knew.

I knew what it really meant to feel alive.
