Every time my heart is pulled
to a wonderful man... it is pulled away
he doesn't remember what a real person is
he doesn't remember what a human girl is like.
Every time I see a man
that makes me smile and makes me sing
he's playing with machines that smile
he's playing with machines that sing
Every time i fall in love
with a man that i feel could love me back
he seems to look through me, like i am glass
he seems to look through me, straight to that... thing.
Every single day it happens
another man buys a perfect girl
why does he think he's fallen in love
why aren't I good enough?
why? humans aren't good enough?
