Chapter 1
Rosegalaxia
It was a curse. A curse that had been placed on him from the day he had been born. A curse that refrained him from ever leaving this world. For always living in the shadows of the night and bemoaning his fate in the light of the day. Of hungering for the blood of others, for the torment and pain and fear that he knew he caused in the hearts of the people who had seen him, heard of him, dreamed of him.
No way to end his suffering, to free him from the hell his father's sins had placed him in. No way, except... a light. A small, bright shining light. A woman. A woman who would warm his heart and free his soul from the cold cage it had been sealed in. An honest, guileless angel who would, with her love, break his bond with evil and fill him with the blazing, brilliant light of love.
She was his salvation. He was her nightmare. But the path of destiny would not be broken and in the end, these two with the interlaced souls, would eventually meet and perish in the love they were meant to have for each other.
Or, their love would be so strong, so genuine, so untainted, that their lives would forever be held up as a legend, a myth to be lived up to and to gain hope from.

He watched her intently. Watched her as a hawk watches a rabbit, as a cat watches a mouse, as a predator watches a prey. He watched her in hunger. He watched her in desire. He watched her in lust. So sweet. So innocent. So pure.
