Snape's life as a child

(Severus Snape's POV- when he was 13 years old)
It's finally the summer, but I'm scared. My father beat me again. I just arrived at Lucius Malfoy's manor. He's always been my best friend. It scared me to know that my father turned into who he is now. Lucius is always there for me.
"Severus is that you?" he asked.
"Yeah. Can I stay here tonight?" I just started to rain
"Your father beat you again?" He was really nice to me. He's like the brother I never had.
"Yeah. I don't know why or how but I got to thinking about that git, Potter." Potter and his friends are always torturing me.
"Forget them Sev. They're crazy, they should be in St. Mungo's." Lucius could always make me laugh after my father beats me. He is in 4th year going into his 5th while I'm going into my 4th year at Hogwarts. After Lucius said this he kissed me, the kiss that makes me fall for him all over again.
