Ruby rushed through the air, following the odd ping Sentinel's sensors picked up south of the base. A nasty storm was heading their direction so she knew she didn't have much time. Unfortunately the storm was also tossing bad data, but she would rather be safe than sorry. Sheets of rain greeted her as she flew into the storm raged area, the winds making it more difficult to fly. Fortunately she was near the area so slimming herself down she dive bombed out of the sky and straight into the cavern.

With a relatively smooth landing, Ruby shook her form to get as much water off of her Transmetal fur as possible before she looked around. Around a far bend of the tunnel network the flicker of a light danced on the stalactites and stalagmites, giving an eerie glow to the scene before her. To add to her discomfort a large crack of lightning struck right outside the cavern, making her audio receptors ring from the sound and her form tingle from the electrons exchanged through the contact.

"Can't go back out into that," she mumbled to herself. So turning back to the cavern before her Ruby did a quick cycle of air through her cooling systems and slowly began to proceed further into the cave. Nearing the bend she had to pause as she heard a dark chuckle of laugher along with the scrape of multiple legs on the rocky surface below, the voice sending chills down her spine.

"Oh, yes. The perfect set up for my lovely little toy. Soon, my sweet. So very soon."

Cautiously Ruby peeked around the corner and spotted Rampage, in beast mode with his back to her. The fire he had lit before him cast him in a dark shadow, making Ruby fearful as she looked at the massive Predacon before her. Another lightning strike outside the cave made her squeak in fear, the rumbling shaking the cave around her as the noise became deafening. When she became aware of things around her again Rampage was standing over her in beast mode.

"Ruby, Maximize!" she called out, but as soon as she was on her two feet form the massive Transmetal crab had grabbed her around the midsection.

Lifting her up, Rampage felt her over with his antenna. "Oh my, my. What have we here? You're very much early, my toy, but that's fine. I was finished sooner than I had anticipated." Carrying her over to where the fire burned brightly Rampage slowly set her down on her feet once more. Ruby was rather shocked. Behind the fire, on a large rectangular piece of stone, was a sizeable pile of nuts and berries surrounded by an assortment of flowers. Almost like some strange alter.

"The storm interfered with your energy signature; I thought you were 'him'. What are you doing in Maximal territory?" she finally asked walking over to take a closer look.

"Nothing special, really," he gave a dark chuckle. "A gift for you," was all he replied to the puzzled look she gave him. "I heard that women like sweets and flowers."

Raising an optic ridge at him, Ruby became even more confused, especially when he started to walk off and began to round the corner. "Enjoy your treat, my sweet. The storm calls to me now! I must taste its pain!"

Left alone, Ruby just blinked at the oddness of the situation. She just couldn't figure out which aspect of Rampage troubled her more, the psychotic side that was could do her harm or the attempt at something sort of romantic.
