"Here. I grabbed you some lunch too."
"Thanks!" Vin eagerly grabbed the burger Nathan offered him as the older man climbed back into the van. He ripped off the package and devoured the hamburger in five bites. It was only when he was licking the last drops of juice from his fingers that Vin noticed Nathan intently watching him with a smile. "What?"
"That was a vegetarian hamburger, Vin," Nathan explained. "No meat."
Vin's mouth dropped open. After a moment, and sharing Nathan's grin, he exclaimed, "Well, that was a surprise! No meat at all?"
"Nope."
"Dang, and it was actually good!"
