They were never the perfect family. They were never meant go this far.
At one point they were happy. They had children to look after and a future ahead of them.
But than the fighting began. The father began taking his anger out on his children. The mother began falling apart, little by little.

Finally the family broke apart. The scars left behind would never heal.

The woman wept for hours, unable to hide the shame she felt for herself. The man tried to fix everything by loving his children again.

Now they were no longer alone. The family had grown stronger in the eyes of God. They could finally continue on with their lives.

AN: So this is just a random drabble I came up with. Believe it or not, the song is actually based off of a family that did almost fall apart. Mark, the lead singer of Casting Crowns, stated that this song was in honor of that family.
And yes, this song did make me cry when I head it live. Such a beautiful and moving song.
