This is a whole new version of this story because lets face it, the old version is crap. So without further ado, I give you the new edit

Bambi walked up the stairs of the house with a wounded pride and tears streaking down her face. She'd had a fight with her brother, David, again. How many nights in a row had this happened? She knew it was around the fourth of fifth night. The only thing she wanted was not to be watched over anymore! She wasn't even allowed outside without one of the boys with her! All she wanted was not to have someone hovering over her shoulder 24/7. If you added her human age and vampire age together she would be on this earth for 110 years. After she walked into the room she slammed the door and looked out to the Boardwalk from her bed. The lights seemed to tease her and say 'Na na na na na, you can't BE here!' It made her sad and angered at the same time. A knock sounded at the door and she didn't look away from the window.

"The office of the shut-in has closed." She called, voice edging on annoyance.

Paul poked his head into the door frame and gave a small smile, "Can I come in?"

Bambi nodded. Paul was a happy person 99% of the time. His wild blonde hair and bright blue eyes seemingly fir his personality. But, like everyone else, Paul had flaws. Here are 5 of them. 1. He smoked a lot of pot (she isn't into that). 2. He carelessly picked his victims. 3. He brought said victims home (accasionally). 4. Paul told the truth about 85% of the time. Not that's not a bad thing, but not good for Bambi's circumstances. Like if she tried to sneak out. 5. Paul had feelings for Bambi. It was painfully obvious, but he was not her One and she was not his. But that didn't seem to affect him at all. Bambi just pretended not to notice.

"Aw, cheer up Bambi." Paul said walking over to her.

"What's there to cheer up about?" She looked out the window once again.

Paul sighed and nudged himself between her and the backboard. Bambi jumped up and sat on her chair next to the window. She was in no mood for this right now. His flirtations were not to be in her schedule tonight.

"Bambi, you know he's only doing what's best."

Her eyes turned a sickly yellowish, orange color as she glared at him. "Is what;s best keeping me under watch like a mouse to a hawk? Or an animal locked in a cage?" She gestured around her.

"That's not it."

"Than what is?"

It was a tense moment. Paul trying to calm her, and Bambi who was fueled with anger. They shared an intense stare before David called them. It snapped Paul out of the trance and he jumped up to run downstairs. Bambi, as you must remember, had the same blood running through her veins. Not the same as the boys had, a sibling blood bond. She had the same hot temper as he did and it was not going away anytime soon. She walked downstairs with her head high and with a stern face. She gave David a warning glare when he tried to talk to her. Instead of his bike, she climbed onto the back of Dwayne's. He was probably closest to her. The motorcycles revved to life and the lights split through the darkness.

"Rules are rules." David said before racing off.

True enough. But, some rules are made to be broken.
