Flame appreiated
As soon as Jack had gotten in the sleigh he felt it, the pain of the injuries from the past few days. Waves of exausation crashed into him. He had used more power in the last few days than he possessed and it was starting to take it's toll. The only thing keeping him from passing out was Jamie waving goodbye only a few feet away. Jack's head was pounding and he was sure he had a concusion. His ribs were throbing and it was hard to breathe. Finally he felt the sleigh take off. He faked a smile and waved at Jamie as they left for the north pole. As soon as his newfound little brother was out of sight, he let his mask fall. Normaly he wouldn't want to show weakness to the guardians, but right now he was too tired to care.
"Crikey, Jack ya don't look so good." He heard Bunny say.
'Funny that's the first time he's called me by my first name.' Jack thought. Tooth frantically started examining him and gasped.
"Jack your head's bleeding!" With two fingers he reached back and felt something sticky. He moved his fingers in front of his face, noticing they were covered in red. At first he couldn't process what it was, but when he did his brain shut down. Jacks eyes into his head, and he started to tip.
"JACK!" Was the last thing he heard when he passed out.
When Jack came to he felt bandages covering the entire upper half of his body. The pain he had felt earlier had lessened greatly. He let out a sigh of relief. Jack knew the guardians would be on him like a pack of wolves(He knew how that felt)for not telling them.
'Got to face them sometime' He thought to himself. He slowly opened his eyes to see each of the guardians looming over him.
"Jack! Nice to see you wake!" North's loud voice boomed. Jack tested out his voice.
"Hey North." Came out very raspy. Tooth took no time to ask the question they had probably been thinking.
"Jack, why didn't you tell us you were injured?." He took a second to respond.
"Didn't want to worry Jamie." The guardians seemed to accept his answer, but he wanted them to know the truth.
"And," He continued. "I've been on my own for years with no one else to rely on but me. Before that I'm still a teenager. It's not easy to tell others your feelings." The guardians looked at each other in shock. Then they all gathered him up in a group hug. Jack tensed from the lack of physical contact over the years. Three hundred years alone had been rough it's true, but now he had believers friends, and possiblily a new family.
Special thanks to Pika Titan from youtube. She is a good friend of mine and helped me out with completing this fanfiction. Check her out if you got the time.
