The electric blue eyes of Zena Black shine with pearly tears as she sat staring into the warm fire of the Gryffindor common room. It was peaceful, as many people were in the Great Hall at dinner. Her long black hair gently tickled her sides through her Christmas shirt.

"Zena!" yelled one Sirius Black from the portrait hole. However, the girl didn't move at all. Sirius walked over and sat down next to her. "What's up, sis?" he asked quietly. She snuggled into his hug and, again, didn't say anything. Sirius decided not to push the matter and just sat with her whilst she cried.

A few hours later they were joined by Remus Lupin, Zena's boyfriend. He frowned at Sirius, who just shrugged. He then put one finger to his lips, signifying she was sleeping. Remus nodded then sat down next to him.

"How long you been up here?" he whispered. Sirius shrugged again.

"I got up here about halfway through dinner, and I have no idea what the time is now."

"It's quarter to ten. She's -"

"What?!" Sirius exclaimed, a little too loudly. Zena stirred in her sleep and slowly opened her eyes, stretching.

"Hey." she said quietly.

"Hey, sis. You ok?" Sirius asked, concerned. Zena nodded. "You wanna talk about why you were up here crying?" Zena sighed and stood, pulling him up to the dorm she shared with the Marauders. Remus followed.

"Mum sent me an owl. Theo's died."

"What, Theo as in Andy's brother?" said Sirius, dumbfounded. Zena nodded. "Oh..."

"I know what might cheer you up." Remus said. He walked behind Zena and pulled her onto the bed. She giggled slightly as he lifted her onto the matress. He suddenly dug his fingers into her sides and she squealed and writhed underneath him. Sirius chuckled and started to join in, tickling her underneath the chin (which was her weak spot).

After a few minutes, she surrendered and they let her go free.

"Well. I suppose we should head to bed now." said Sirius, smirking.

"I swear, if you tickle me when I'm sleeping, Sirius Orion Black, I will murder you. That goes for you too, Remus John Lupin." Zena said, glaring.
