Lucy enters in the living room and sits on her couch and starts reading her magazine:

-Scene 1-

(Knock,Knock,Knock)

Lucy: Who is it?

Ethel: "It's Ethel.."

Lucy: "Lucy fixes her hair "Common in!"

Ethel: "Good morning Lucy!"

Lucy: *Lucy doesn't respond*

Ethel: "Lucy?….Lucy?"

Ethel walks in front of Lucy and waves her hand back and forth several times.

Ethel: "Earth to Lucy, Earth to Lucy come in Lucy…"

Lucy: "Oh! I'm sorry Ethel, I have just been admiring these dresses in this magazine… aren't they beautiful? *Lucy shows Ethel the magazine*

Ethel: "Oh golly, those are fantastic, but Fred the penny pincher will never let me get one.

Lucy: Yeah, I pretty sure Ricky won't let me get one either… *Lucy walks into the kitchen with a newspaper*

Ethel: (Ethel giggles) The last time Fred got me a dress was…a from a thrift shop down the block about 3 years ago. He says I should be really grateful for getting that dress that only costs 75 cents. *Ethel looks at the magazine article again*

Ethel: Oh, what I would do for a dress like that…

Lucy: Ethel! I just got a great idea!

Ethel: What?

Lucy: "You always read in magazine articles about models show casing the newest fashion so If we become models…"

Ethel: Ohhh.. no way Lucy we are not modeling types..

Lucy: Did you just say WE are not modeling types?

Ethel: Yes Lucy thats what I said..

Lucy: Well then! I'm going to show you that I can become a model and get free high fashion!

Ethel: *Laughs* Okay we will see….

Lucy: *Storms into her bedroom*

Ethel: *Shakes her head and starts looking in a magazine*

15 mins later… (Lucy comes out wearing a long evening dress)

Ethel: Lucy! You look great!

Lucy: *In a low voice* Thank you darling…

Ethel: *Giggle* Hey you know what you could probably pass as a model!

Lucy: I know what to do! I will go down to the talent agency on monroe avenue and get an audition by one of their talent scouts! (Lucy opens up closet door and puts on a jacket..Starts walking towards door)

Ethel: Okay! I will see you later, I will take care of Little Ricky while you are gone.

Lucy: Thanks Ethel! *Lucy shows Ethel crossed fingers*

Ethel: *Ethel crosses fingers back*

Lucy: *Walks out and shuts the door.*
