EMERALD KNIGHT
Prologue: Things were pretty hectic for the justice league, with the resurgence of the legion of doom, the royal flush gang, and a host of other nere-do-wells. It seemed that every villain from luthor, to sinesestro was making appearances lately. There was little if any free time for the league in the past few months. Konnor was just returning to the hall of justice when a voice came over the intercom requesting his presence in the main conference room.
When he arrived he was mildly surprised to see batman of all people there, what with his commitments in gotham he was rarely around anymore, even through the current tribulations, yet there he was along with victor, raven, Diana, and j'onn. After kal-el's death, then wally's incapacitating injury , there was no longer the air of invincibility amongst the remaining members. This turn of events had repercussions that were far more far reaching than one would have ever dreamed. As their enemies became bolder in their escapades, the league, now led by a very jaded batman, became increasingly more, and more brutal in their reactions, and their tactics. Konnor, as arguably their most powerful member, was being called upon to undertake a mission to lead a small team to investigate a temporal disturbance in what was once the command center of cadmus.
