"why didn't your mum want you to come back to Hogwarts Seamus?" asked Harry surprised. He knew Seamus's mum was a witch and could not understand why she should have come over so Dursleyish.

""well," he said in a measured voice, "I suppose... because of you."

"What do you mean?" said Harry quickly, but he thought he already knew why. He felt as though something was closing in on him.

"well," said Seamus again, still avoiding Harry's eye, "she... er... well, it's not just you, its Dumbledore too..."

"she believes the Daily Prophet?" said Harry. "She thinks I'm a liar and Dumbledore's an old fool?"

Seamus looked up at him.

"Yeah, something like that."

Harry said nothing. He threw his wand to his bedside table, stuffed his robes into his trunk, grabbed his invisibility cloak and hid it in his robes and walked out of the room. He heard Dean asking where he was going but was out of the room by the time he had finished.

He was sick of everyone looking at him like he was crazy, sick of everyone thinking he was crazy and sick of all the pointing and whispering. If any of them knew what it was like to be talked about all the time, what it felt like to have all these things happen to him, he was sure they would go mad. He was going to do what would get rid of all the hatred and anger, all of the loneliness and go to join his parents.

He put on his invisibility cloak as soon as he had shut the door of the boy's dormitory and descended down the stairs into the common room. He saw Ron and Hermione talking to some first years, fulfilling their Prefect duties and though, this is the last time I will ever see them. This is the last time I will ever see this common room... at least while I'm alive.

He waited till nobody was watching and climbed out of the portrait hole. This would be the last time he would see Hogwarts. He took one last walk around the castle and finally headed towards the Astronomy tower, the highest point in the castle.

He took off his invisibility cloak and stepped towards the edge. He looked around to the grounds. Hagrid's hut was sitting peacefully in the background. He never got to see him before his death. Never got to say hello to him or talk to him before he parted with the earth.

He thought about Sirius, Ron, Hermione, and all the Weasleys. He thought of Lupin and Mad-Eye, and the rest of the Order who had done everything they could to protect Harry. All their work would have gone to waste. Then he thought of Dumbledore with a jolt. He surely wouldn't care, he had been acting as though Harry barely existed. He knew that he wasn't doing anything good and that he was being reckless, but he had to get rid of all the pain.

Finally after all his thinking, he stepped towards the barista. He climbed on it, took one last breath, and jumped. The feeling was a great and adrenalin-pumping but quick sensation. Before he knew it he had hit the ground and no longer felt anything.
