Moonlight Sonata
The
song of sadness begins…
The
first movement… The Exposition
It was his song of sadness. He woke up in a town where the sun never sets. Xemnas appeared and promised him he will become whole again. It must have been a mechanical instinct that drives every Nobody. He accepted and became Number XIII, The Key of Destiny, and the leader of the Samurai Nobodies. It was nice to know that he wasn't alone and there were others like him in his 'condition.' Still, he still needed to know: Who was his originally? And why is he wielding a weapon that requires a heart to command?
None of the Nobodies knew the answer or they wouldn't tell him the truth. He waited patiently for the truth; hours turns to days, days became weeks, weeks became months. He finally snapped. Ignoring his only best friend's advice, he got up and left the Organization.
"Nobody would miss me anyway…"
A short pause, then proceed
Second
Movement; the Development
An unexpected turn of events; he was captured by his original self's best friend. He was the huge fragment that needed to piece back together to be whole with his original. To his surprise, he was whisked off to a fake stimulated Twilight Town with fake memories and personality, of course. That's the only way to stop the Organization and give the girl, Namine, time to merge himself completely. There was never another boy that were friends with Hayner, Pence and Olette. He was completely alone. On the final day, he was forced back into his original. To fade back into the darkness, that is the fate of Nobodies. The shadow reality was the perfect place to end a non-existent human and his non-existent heart.
"Looks like my summer vacation…is over."
The
final pause, then a thunderous start
The
final movement…the Recapitulation
It took him all his energy to bring himself out to appear before his original, to have one showdown with his original self. He wanted to see why the Keyblade favor his original rather than him.
Their blades clashed and met with spark clashing flowing with power. He showed no mercy to his original. If his original is weak and powerless, then there is no point lending half of his power to him. He began questioning if the Keyblade chose a suiting master at all. It didn't take him too long to knock the Keyblade off his original's hand. He watches his original try to reach for the blade but he got there before him. He raised his own blade in front of his original, waiting for him to admit defeat, for a moment he seem to overpower his original. It was a mistake to do that. His original manages to call his key back. It was a mistake to look down too; it gave his original time to strike him. His own Keyblades vanished seeing he has lost. There was no point fighting now.
His original won even though he was side tracked for a bloody second. Yet, somehow he was content with defeat. It proved his original might be strong and will enough to defeat the Organization and take down Xemnas. No, he believes he original can defeat him. His original can be a dope and naïve sometimes but the determination and judgment he has, stands strong. Therefore, he will stop his song of sadness. There was no more reason to be sad anymore. He will not fade; he will live inside his original. He may not have a body but he will watch and listen through his original till the end.
"You make a good other."
The song slowly fades to dark.
