Sweet Tooth

It was 3am and Duo was having a sweet-tooth attack.

He skidded into the kitchen, white and purple checkered boxers barely visible in the pale slivers of light peeking through the window blinds. A flip of the light switch flooded the room in yellow. Jumping up on the countertop, Duo wrenched open the cupboard doors and frantically started rearranging them.

"Dammit! There just has to be something!"

"What was it you had in mind?" Wufei leaned against the doorframe, eyes warily following the braided pilot's movements.

"Chocolate syrup."

"There isn't any." Duo faltered and frowned, turning to look over his shoulder at the exotic pilot.

"Are you sure?"

"Positive. I checked." Duo turned back to the cupboards again, this time setting things down precariously on the edge of the counter in his hasty search.

"Honey?" Wufei snickered at Duo's obvious distress.

"Nope."

"Butterscotch?"

"Fresh out."

"Whipped cream!" Duo suddenly cried, bolting for the fridge.

"Don't have it." Wufei told him calmly. Duo glared at him.

"Don't we have anything I can use in this God-forsaken safe house? I want something I can lick off 'Fei! I'm dying here in my needs!" Suddenly there came a choked sound from behind Wufei. Quatre stared at them wide-eyed as he slowly backed out of the kitchen.

"I just came in for some coffee...I'll just be leaving." As he ran away, Duo gave Wufei a questioning look. Wufei merely grinned and shook his head.

"If you really want something...there are fresh strawberries in the bottom drawer." Duo pulled them out, eyes shinning.

"Perfect."

"You're tastes are...truly interesting." Wufei told him as them walked back to the bedroom. Duo plopped down on the bed, reaching for a bowl nearby.

"Hey! Blame it on my sweet tooth! It's not my fault I need something with my ice cream if it's plain vanilla – damn! Now it's all melted!" Duo glared at the half liquid ice cream in his bowl and jabbed at it with his spoon. Wufei rubbed his eyes tiredly and snorted.

"Your own damn fault. Just eat it like whipped cream and shut up so I can get some sleep." Duo's frown evaporated into an evil grin at the suggestion. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all.

"'Fei, do you like strawberries?"
