As the moon shines brightly over head, it is Light who walks among the path on which was coming to his work. Well... it used to be... Him and Misa Misa are now wed, and Misa is happy. However Light carries a hidden sorrow in his mind. He stops when he sees a large building. The building carried his sorrow, anger, and most of all guilt. It was the place that he killed many people. of coarse it wasn't the criminals that he killed that made him sad but, it was the love of his life... L Lawlet. He stares at the abandoned place, full of dust and cobwebs. He decides to walk in and he see's that nothing has changed. He walks to the room that once belonged to him. when he turns the Handle the creaky door falls off. cautiously he tip toes in and see's the bed where him and L once had to lay together. On the bed lay the hand cuffs that each of them wore. Light walks sadly over to the bed and kneels down taking the hand cuffs in his trembling hands. Tears threaten to fall out , and he screams in pain. He never told L how much he loved him. Lights mind was now a place of horror and unforgettable memories. although he was able to become the god he wanted to be, he was lonely without L by his side. His almost lover may have been trying to capture Kira ( Light ) but, he never did. Light falls to the now disgusting floor sobbing loudly. then something catches his weary eye. It was a box that said
"To Light from L"
Light took the box out from under the bed and opened it, there was a tiny note inside. the note read of how L really did have the same feelings for Light. He took the note and held it close to his heart, he suddenly felt a presence embracing him from behind. He smiled for the first time in a while, now he knew L was with him forever.
