Her mother left when she was young. Her fathers dead because of the 'accident'. Her sister doesn't want her. Why is she even here?
Her spark has burnt out. There is no fire which used to make Lily Evans. Her vibrant red locks now fall limp around her shoulders. Her body slowly shuts down as she refuses to feed it. Nothing she owns fit her now, as her ribs show and her stomach is non-existent. She's a wreck. No one can save her.

Midnight come around and the red headed girl sits with her head in her hands and her legs over the side of the astronomy tower. Her thoughts take over. 'What if' she pounders too many times. Before deciding this is not the way she want to leave this world. She takes out her blade and runs it along her wrists, up her sides and across her legs until she has no thoughts left to overcrowd her brain but the pain of what she has done. Her head returns to her hands as she is too weak to move.

He watches from the behind a pillar as the girl he loves breaks down. Her body shakes, it's not from the cold, but from what she marks herself with. The red lines that belong to her but haunt him. All he wants to do it pull her in. But he doesn't, he only needs to interfere if she does something more. Because if she dies. He dies.

Finally she pulls herself up. Her legs shake, they are still weak. She slips smoothly under the barriers into the actual room. She turns and stares and the stars putting her arms on the barrier. Tonight is too extra-ordinary to be the night of her death she thinks before sighing aloud.
Her breathe becomes ragged in mid-sigh. She doubles over trying to gain the air.
Her vision becomes spotted, the stars start to disappear. She steps back trying to steady her self after losing the barrier. She grabs blindly for it before falling to her knees.

He runs to her falling figure smelling the vanilla smell that is so Lily. He takes his cloak from around him and drapes it around her. Taking her hands in his while her head is tucked in his lap.

Her body is becoming limp, her pulse becoming fainter as he lifts her. He is determined. Therefore takes her to someone that can help.
She lifts one eye barely but enough to see that they are red and blotchy.

'You don't... understand...' she whimpers as he kicks open the doors of the hospital wing and shouts for the healer.
