Aria paced nervously outside of Ezra's apartment wondering how she could possibly break the news to him. She didn't get into Talmadge and that was her safety school. Finall building up the courage she knocked softly on the door.
"Aria" Ezra asked as he opened the door. "What's wrong?"
"I didn't get into Talmadge! I didn't get into any of the colleges I applied to. I'm going to be stuck in Rosewood forever!" Aria exclaimed walking past him and sitting on the couch. "I don't know what I am going to do."
Taking a sear beside her, Ezra placed a hand on her knee.
"You know, 67% of seniors don't get into their top choice school," he said attempting to reassure her.
"But this was my last choice! I applied to six schools and didn't get into a sing one." Tears started to build up in Aria's eyes and Ezra wiped them away when they started to fall.
"Well 84% of students take a gap year and reapply to schools when they've spent more time figuring out who they are and what they want to do."
"Maybe in Europe, but not here," Aria retorted. "I'm sure A is just trying to keep me here forever so she can just keep torturing me."
Ezra paused trying to think of what could possibly comfort her. "Only 34% of people with stalkers end up getting killed by the stalker," he stated.
"How in the world is that supposed to make me feel better!?"
"And only 62% actually end up meeting their stalker."
"This still isn't hel-" Aria was cut off by Ezra rambling more statistics.
"17% of stalkers are really just secret admirers who are too afraid to confess their feelings. And 86% of people who have been stalked agreed that the experience has made them better people."
"Ezra!" Aria yelled. "What the hell are you talking about?" She jumped off the couch and headed towards the door but he cut her off.
"93% of arguments are not resolved by walking out," he informed her.
"I don't want to argue! Ezra, I just wanted you to be there for me. To give me advice, I'm scared and I don't know what to do and your bullshit statistics are not making me feel any better." Aria took a step away from him and sighed. "I know you were just trying to help."
"I'm sorry I made it worse. I honestly didn't know what to do, but we'll figure it out, we always do." Ezra said closing the space between them and kissing her softly.
