John entered the room flipping through the mail. Sherlock looked up from his sheet music and glanced over at John with a very blank expression. John looked up and wrinkled his nose and looked around clearly forgetting why he entered the room.
"You were going to check the fridge to see if needed anything, but I can already tell you that you're going to need to head up to the store and get milk, cheese, and bread. "
John paused for a moment remembering his thoughts and frowned at Sherlock's immediate chore assignment.
"Looks like I'm going out then." John patted he jacket where he thought his keys should be. As if on cue Sherlock
brought the keys up between his forefinger and thumb and jingled them slightly. John glared over at Sherlock as he snatched the keys from his hands.
John arrived at the store and tapped his fingers pinky to thumb on the cart, pouching out his lips and giving a generally confused look that was only stopped by his phone going off.
Milk, Cheese, and Bread.

John scoffed at the text message and mumbled to himself.
John entered the flat and went directly and mouthed off to Sherlock on his way to the kitchen.
"I knew exactly what to get…"
"Of course John and I knew exactly what to text you when you forgot." Sherlock retorted without even looking away from the television. John shook his head and proceeded to put away the groceries. After balling up the last bag and tossing it in the waste basket John sat down to his blog. After typing and erasing several times Sherlock rolled his eyes and got up from his chair.
"I understand your simple mind is used to being forgetful, but it's been more so than usual. It's because you're letting stress get to you."
"I am not." John offensively stated "What could possibly stress me out right now? I've been in more-"
"John there's many different types of stress and I don't feel like explaining it all to you right now so I'll just skip straight to the point. Let's go out and get drinks. That's what normal people do to unwind isn't it?" Sherlock interrupted. After a quick pause John sighed and shut his laptop.
"C'mon I know a good pub." John said putting on his coat and looking over to see Sherlock already standing at the door with his coat and scarf positioned perfectly in place. John smiled and laughed shaking his head as he walked past Sherlock.
"You're buying since you offered."
