"Edward Cullen, I can not believe you," I said, staring at myself in the mirror.
"What? You don't like it?" he whispered into my ear.
"Of course not!!" I said loudly.
"Good!" he said, flashing his crooked smile.
I scowled, staring at myself and fuming silently.
"Heads or tails?" I asked excited, happy to finally find something to do.
"Bella! I'm trying to concentrate!" Edward groaned, pulling his eyes away from his music to look at me for a moment.
"Come on! It's a simple question!"
"Heads."
I flipped the coin, and caught it: heads.
"You won."
"Of course I did."
I rolled my eyes, "Lucky guess."
"Would you like to make it more interesting?" he said slyly, peering up at me from the corner of his amber eyes.
"What do you have in mind?" I questioned.
"The next toss, I guess correctly, I choose what you have to do and vice versa."
"You're on!" I said.
"Hey Bella, Edward," Alice said walking into the room.
"Hey," we both said.
"Edward, Emmett's looking for you."
"Okay, hold on."
"Your pick?" I asked.
He glanced up for a second, "Tails."
"Oh Bella I'm sorry!!" Alice suddenly blurted out.
"Crap!! You cheater!" I shouted.
Edward chuckled, "Will you please flip the coin?"
"What coin?" I said quickly, tossing it behind me.
"This one," he said, catching it easily and reappearing right in front of me. He flashed a dazzling smile, the tossed it into the air.
Tails.
"Edward this is not fair. This is not right. No one in the universe should be made to do this. It's cruel."
"Hitler?" he asked smugly.
"With a few exceptions…" I mumbled.
"Okay!" he said excited, "Now, down the street!"
"NO WAY!"
He sighed.
"I'm not walking down the street dressed like a lamb!!! NO!"
He looked at me sternly, "You're not going to honor our bet??"
"No," I said defiantly.
He leaned in and breathed, "Please, Bella?"
I shut my eyes tightly and shook my head before forcing out a, "No."
"Well, I guess I'll have to play dirty then."
"What?" I asked in a tiny voice.
He picked me up and carried me down the stairs easily, and then shoved me through the front door.
"I… am… not…going…to…forgive…you…for…this!" I said, trying to push him back inside, a futile attempt.
He laughed.
"Edward!"
"Okay, Okay," he picked me up and started running. Before I knew it, we were at the Cullen residence.
"Emmett, Jasper, Alice, Carlisle, Esme, Rosealie?" he called, I felt my eyes widen.
"Edward!" I shouted again.
Then laughing vampires surrounded me.
Especially Emmett, who wouldn't let it go.
Never ever, ever Bet against Alice.
