Hello, peoples! Okay, I know how a lot of people name their chapters after songs, so I hope they don't mind if I do too. This chapter is named after Still Alive by Valve. Listen to it; it's a really awesome and random song. After you listen to it, look up the lyrics, and you will see that it really goes well with the whole "vampire and Twilight" theme because part of the lyrics go like this:

I'm still alive

I'm being so sincere right now

Even though you broke my heart (EDWARD DOES THIS TO BELLA!) and killed me and tore me to pieces and threw every piece into a fire (THAT'S HOW YOU KILL A VAMPIRE!)

Chapter 1: Still Alive by Valve

I was still in the woods when Victoria found me. Edward had just left, and I was scared. And alone. Except for Victoria, of course, but I don't call having a blood-thirsty murderous vampire that wants to kill you exactly "good company". "You know I've been looking for a way to get you away from your precious Edward." She cooed. "Edward's coming!" I tried to say confidently, though I knew that my words had no meaning. Just an empty threat. Victoria slowly walked toward me.

I was holding back the scream that was building in my throat. But I was really close to a bunch of houses, so when people heard the scream, they would come over to investigate. Therefore, not only would I die, but I'd have about half a dozen other people's lives on my shoulder too. Why on Earth was I thinking about all this? I'm about to die, and I'm letting my mind wander off in scenarios. Just hold your tongue! You're about to die! I told myself. I slowly repeated those evil words in my head. This was it. I am about to die. God! Why can't I run away? Then I remembered that I fall too much when I run. Jeez, when I do think, I over think. When I don't think, I'm an idiot! I am so messed up! I fell in love with a vampire, and I'm too thick to run for my own life. God, Victoria was now bending towards me to my neck. And now, I couldn't do anything but scream. Man, that was the wrong thing to do. Apparently, Victoria didn't want me to be found here. "Ugh!" She groaned. "Oh, you really shouldn't have done that, you stupid human." And with that she pulled me on her back and ran off with me at vampire speed. When we finally stopped, she dropped me with a thud on the ground. She looked at me with her head cocked, and she just bit my neck. But then, she stopped. I was in too much pain to think why, but I kept on yelling and screaming and thinking, kill me, just kill me! The last thing I remember is Victoria's voice saying, "You're not worth the satisfaction of killing. I'll go attend to Edward. He's the one who killed James. You'll be in double pain, so we both gain." And then, I blacked out.
