Reno walked swiftly away from his wife. Why she had insisted on coming to Costa del Sol for their honeymoon he would never figure out. He got horrible sunburn, their intimate moments on the beach had been hampered by sand getting in all the worst places on his body, and he was certain the masseuse she had used the other day was flirting with her.
"Reno stop for a second! We have to go see that Mars Daybreak musical next, remember?" Reno stopped and turned around. Tifa was glaring at him and had her hands on her hips.
"Tifa, why can't we just stay in the hotel room? They have a comfy bed, nice soft sheets, and I could keep you a lot more entertained then some musical." Tifa walked up to him and put her hands on his shoulders.
"Is sex all you ever think about? Well why don't you go hook up with that waitress from the bar huh?" She then shoved him away from her roughly, making Reno lose his balance. Arms waving around to steady his body, he took one more involuntary step back. This sent him off the edge of the hill they were standing on. Reno's lanky frame was rolling farther away from Tifa, who looked at the scene with wide eyes. "Reno!!" She then looked around for something that would stop his long descent down the hill but there were no rocks anywhere except way at the bottom. So she did the only thing she could think of: she threw herself down after him.
The world was stuck in a dryer on spin. That was the only thing Reno could think of as he rolled down the hill. Finally coming to a stop at the bottom he managed to get into a sitting position. He saw little birds waving around his head. Strangely they had his wife's head and were singing On the Good Ship Lollipop. He shook his head a couple times and was about to stand when he heard someone shouting.
"MAKE IT STOP!!" The next thing Reno knew he was knocked onto the soft grass and was staring up into the eyes of his wife, who looked a little sick.
"Tifa…are you okay?" At her name, Tifa's eyes focused on her husband and she hugged onto him tightly.
"Re I'm so sorry!" She then broke apart, checking his body for any injuries. "You're not hurt are you?"
"No I'm fine Tifa but that's one way to get me to realize I've been an ass to you. Forgive me?" Tifa kissed him on the cheek and nodded.
"Only if you can forgive me for being so selfish." Reno kissed her deep on the lips then and sifted his fingers through her sable locks. Breaking apart, he smiled at her.
"Of course beautiful. I love you so much Tifa."
"Will you still love me when I'm old and wrinkled?" Tifa said, smirking at him.
"By that time I'll have lost most of my teeth and probably be using Depends. So if you can put up with that then, yeah I'll always love you."
"Don't expect me to change your diapers." Tifa said with the smirk still on her face.
"We can have our kids do it, yo." Reno remarked. Tifa blushed at that.
"You really want to have children?" Tifa asked, glancing at his chest. Reno reached out a hand and raised her chin up until her eyes met his.
"Of course. And they'll all be little angels just like their mom." Reno said.
"Nah I think they'll be little troublemakers just like their daddy." Tifa commented.
"What do you say we stay here for a little while longer?" Reno asked. Tifa kissed him deep on the lips and broke apart some moments later. She rolled off of him and snuggled close to his body, head nestled in his neck. The words she spoke next tickled his skin.
"As you wish." Reno sighed in contentment and held her close, as the sun sank below the horizon and stars started to appear in the sky.
