After Cory had Sophie clean the dishes he woke up the next morning to a bed full of dirty dishes. There was a note attached to his pajamas.

"What the… oh it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO on"

"I told you not to start with me," Sophie laughed

"Oh it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO on," Cory said, "and may the best 'man' win"

"Oh 'she' will," Sophie said

A few hours later Sophie found that her shoes were filled with shaving cream

"Amateur," she said laughing

That night he found a fake spider in his bed.

It went on like this for awhile. She sprayed a liquid stink bomb called liquid $$ in his room.

"Ew ya nasty," he said when he got a whiff of that odor"

He got even by putting hot sauce in her hamburger.

"That was a good one," she said laughing, "wait until tomorrow for round two"

He woke up duct taped to his bed

"Ugh ya nasty," he said as it took him 3 hours to get himself untaped.

In retaliation he took superglue and glued her fingers together while she was taking a nap on the couch.

"That's a good one," she said, "but not good enough"

Finally a few days later after a particular embarrassing prank he sat her down and asked her, "come on you can't still be mad about the dishes"

"Oh Cory," she said, "I was never mad about the dishes. I never even DID the dishes. I made TENISHA do it for me since I had some dirt on her"

"Then what's with the pranks," he asked, "I don't get it"

"Don't you," she asked, "you really don't get it"

"No I really don't"

"How hard is it for you to figure out that I like you," she asked him

"You- you like me?"

"Duh"

"But Sophie I'm 6 years older then you"

"Cory ew… I don't like you romantically. I like you as a best friend. I love you as a brother and I felt lately like you don't even care about me anymore"

Cory tried to protest but he couldn't. She was right

"Sophie," he said, "I will always care about you and I will always love you but I'm older and I need time with my other friends and my family. How about this? We'll do something special together once a week and if you ever feel I'm ignoring you let me know"

"Okay," she said and they shared a hug
