TRICK
It was one in the afternoon and Annabeth had been standing by the pool for an hour already. Angry? Of course she's angry. Who wouldn't be mad at someone, especially if that certain someone is your boyfriend, who promised to meet at 12? She hates it when people kept her waiting including Percy. She's wearing a red and white stripped polo with a white tank top, a denim short shorts and a red short cut converse.
She sighed and turned back to go but suddenly, someone grabbed her waist and by the size of the persons arm, she guessed the person is a man. She was surprised of course and the first thing she did, she punched him in the face in which the man landed on the pool. She gasped of what she did and looked at the person she punched in the pool. The person didn't move as if he was dead and then she recognized the guy. Percy!
She hesitated to go to him because she knew that Percy was the son of the sea god. What if this was a trick? Alas, she still went towards the pool due to how worried she is of him. She did punch him in the face which would result to a total knock-out due to the force on how she hit him.
"Percy! Are you okay?" Of course he is not okay; you just punched him in the face! Her brain scolded her, "Percy stop joking, this isn't funny," still no response "Percy I'm serious!"
"…"
She panicked "Oh gods!"
She dived in and swam toward him. She got him and saw his ayes were closed. She carried him to the pool side and little did she know, Percy opened his right eye to peek, smiled and acted as if he really drowned. Yup, he was acting all along. She put him at the pool side and pulled him to her lap.
"gods Percy! Wake up!" still no response "Percy! I'm serious, don't kid around me"
"…"
"Good gods" she muttered.
She panicked and tried to do the mouth-to-mouth and their lips met. It is not a kiss but a mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, there's a difference. But then Percy grabbed her cheeks, making the kiss closer and deeper. At fist Annabeth was shocked but eventually she enjoyed the kiss Percy had given her. They both pulled away from the kiss and Percy smiled at her. Annabeth also smiled but eventually that smile faded due to what happened. She looked away from him with cheeks bright red. Percy noticed her blushing and chuckled.
Annabeth heard him laugh "Idiot… Seaweed brain," She pouted
He chuckled again "I love you too Wise Girl," He smiled
