No sounds could be heard outside the room. The moans and gasps drowned everything out. Kagome writhed in Inuyasha's arms, drowning in him. His lips were almost bruising, and he drew back to scrape her bottom lip between his fangs. She gasped. In the light of the fire the only thing she could see was Inuyasha's glowing gold eyes.
"Kagome, this is torture." He groaned. His grip tightened around her.
"I know, but it's only ten days away." She kissed him softly.
Inuyasha rolled her onto her back, and kissed his way down her neck. She arched against him, panting, and ran her fingers through his soft silver hair.
"God, I'm going insane. How can you stand this?"he growled in her ear.
"I can't." She pushed him back and sat up. "You think it's just you? I'm burning up." She rested her head on his chest and moaned. She could feel his fingers trembling on her back, and fought to control herself. A shudder ripped through her. "Ten days is too long."
"Agreed, let's get married tomorrow." He huffed and breathed in her scent. He pushed her back down on the mat and nestled his head in her shoulder. Kagome stroked his ears as their breathing returned to normal.
As they drifted into sleep, Kagome asked, "tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow."
