A/N: Wow! I wrote Chps. 1-4 all in one day! I am so proud of myself! ; D

In a large field of flowers waited an emerald-eyed, auburn-haired 14-year old maiden, slowly picking petals off of a daisy.

As the daylight turned to twilight, Sakura Kinomoto finished her flower. She stood up and looked around. No one was there. She sighed and made her way to a nearby bridge that looked out over a beautiful lake. The scene was romantic, yet poor Sakura had no one to share it with.

She sighed again and turned around to go home. Flashbacks started to occur as she made her way home. First Madison's face appeared.

"Remember Sakura," she'd said, "I'll always be there whenever you need someone to talk to about your problems."

Sakura sighed. Yeah, but now you're in Paris. There's no way to talk to you from here!

Sakura sighed for the umpteenth time as she passed some kids pitching a tent in their backyard.

She remembered all the fun times they'd had together, and smiled. A single tear fell down her cheek, and she frowned again.

Madison… she thought. Where are you now?

Shaoran had moved away years ago, and Sakura's house had burned shortly after that. Luckily everyone (and everything) was saved, and Sakura's new house was built on that same spot. She remembered how her family had been planning to move even before the fire (so all the furniture was out) but when everybody helped build the new house, they decided to stay.

Sakura sighed (again?) and reached into her pockets. She kicked a rock that lay nearby.

Just then, it started to snow. More memories came flooding back to her. Memories of school, friends, and family. But mostly of Shaoran Li.

Li.

Just the name brought tears to her eyes. Moving away without even so much as a goodbye.

Needless to say, she missed him deeply.
