Bloodlust
Summary: Takes place after Fool Me Once. After Grams' funeral, Elena, Bonnie, Stefan and Damon get a new visitor from 1864, one that the boys never expected.
Chapter One: Revenge is Served Best Sweet
Katherine stepped into her 'home' ; a cold cellar in underneath an abandoned warehouse. This ratty, run-down place was dark, dirty, and whatever negative adjective that started with the letter "D". In other words, it wasn't the place Katherine had expected to stay for her return back to the quiet, and peaceful town of Mystic Falls.
But that will all be over soon, she thought, smiling at herself.
Katherine loathed this town with a passion, this was the town that nearly ruined her life, though she has some fun times here. Especially with the Salvatore brothers: Stefan and Damon. But she wasn't there to fall in love, the boys were useless to her, just like everyone else that she had compelled. They have been proven to be even more useless when hearing that they were still heartbroken about her, especially Damon. Damon of all people. Sure, she'd understand if it was Stefan, sweet, sensitive Stefan. But Damon...he was too cocky for this. She pushed the thought out of her head, the Salvatore Boys meant nothing to her.
But word had gotten around that the brothers had returned to Mystic Falls, and were seen as the "Protectors" of the town, and there was another appealling part of the town as well. A girl named Elena Gilbert; Stefan's lover and her doppelganger, she had heard. Alike in appearance, but difference in personality. Where as Katherine was cold and manipulative, Elena was kind and caring. Katherine did not like this one bit. Though she no longer cared for the Salvatore brothers, she did not like the fact that another girl had what she had created wrapped around her finger, even someone as 'sweet' as Elena Gilbert. She was planning to leave Mystic Falls soon, but she should pay a visit to her favourite brothers and their friend.
After all, revenge is served best sweet.
