DISCLAIMER: Much as I hate to admit it, no, I do not own The Avengers or any characters.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: I am new to the Fan-Fiction writing world, so it's not the best, I know that. Please, bear with me. This is one of my Hawkeye/Loki Fan-Fics. It's not something I usually 'ship, so this one will be especially bad. LUCKY YOU!
WARNINGS: There will be violence, it's true. There will be cursing, that is also true. There may be **something else** (hint, hint). Rated "M" because I'm still not sure where I want to take this.

Hawkeye walked into the room. He didn't want to be here, he wasn't even sure WHY he was here. He only knew that he was. "What the hell, Loki?!" were the first words out of his mouth, when he saw the god of Mischief.
"Is that anyway to speak to an old comrade, my dear Hawkeye?" Loki asked in that way that only Loki could ask and smirking in that way that only Loki could smirk.
"Comrade?! COMRADE?! Are you freaking out of your mind?! The only reason I was your 'comrade' was because you were controlling me. It was of no choice of mine!" Hawkeye practically screamed, the anger rising in his voice, becoming an uncontrollable mass of emotion.
Loki, as usual, remained calm, cool and collected. "I would appreciate it, Mr. Barton, if you refrained from yelling at me like I was the parent of an irresponsible teenager. I would've expected more from a man with your…eh….shall we say…skill set?"
Hawkeye looked like he wanted to say more, but common sense made him shut his mouth. Instead, he settled for sitting on the edge of the table, folding his arms across his chest and glaring at Loki, his hazel eyes flashing with fire and anger. So what if Loki was the god of fire? Hawkeye had enough of it too.
"Why am I here, bastard?" he asked enough of his usual calm regained so that he could carry on a conversation. "What could I have possibly done THIS TIME to cause you to summon me?"
"You're shouting again, Mr. Barton," Loki said. Neither his facial features nor his expression had changed during the entire exchange of conversation. "And I would like it to stop." He paused for effect before continuing. "As for why you're here…Two reasons, really. The first is I need information on what you and your little team along with my brother are planning to do next. The second is because I am bored and you entertain me." His expression changed now, his green eyes flashed with mischief and power. The smirk vanished as well, replaced with a grim expression.

So…..not that great. It's a work in progress. If you could tell me what you think, though, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again, Stan.
