A/N Though I am jealous of the popularity of Thrill, I must admit, its quite nice to write - since their characters are quite developed in the anime already...

Sorry if you're upset about them dying. Enjoy.

The thing about being able to see the future, is that it sucks.

"Syusuke."

Fuji snapped out of his reverie.

"You've been dazed all day, is anything wrong?" The concern in his voice spoke more fluently than words.

Are you okay? Is there anything you want to tell me? Will you be alright?

Fuji pulled a smile onto his face, but it was strained.

"No, everything's fine."

Ryoma looked away. His eyebrows drew a little closer together in suspicion, but he did not want Fuji to see it. Then, they continued sitting on the roof in amiable silence, looking up at the countless stars. Presently, his worry faded away, and he leant on Fuji's arm, closing his eyes.

When he had fallen asleep, Fuji adjusted his position, so that he wouldn't have a sore neck afterwards.

What would you say, if you knew what I knew?

He looked down at the sleeping figure sorrowfully.

Suddenly, Ryoma mumbled in his sleep.

"I wouldn't… live… without you…snore"

"I wouldn't live without you too." Fuji said softly.

Goodbye.

"They say that he committed suicide before his heart attack."

"An interesting coincidence… They do say he was a psychic. Maybe he knew beforehand?"

I wouldn't live out my life alone, instead I'll spend my death with you.

The funeral was held jointly, and as accorded with the wishes of the deceased, they were placed in the same coffin, his white hand enclosed by a brown one. As if they held tightly, even in death.

Never to let go.
