Here is a Ren and Nora story (Unfortunately not a Rennora story, I couldn't think of anything for that). I love Ren and Nora so much! They would be so cute together! Anyways, I want you guys to send in any prompts for RWBY, I accept all ideas and would love to get some inspiration from you guys! So just PM me any prompts you have or post them in the comments. I am looking forward to hearing from you! So without further ado…
Ren had had long hair for a long time. Ren had had Nora as a best friend for a long time. Do you see what I'm getting at? Well, let's just say that Ren's long hair was because of Nora, as well as the streak of pink that were embedded into his bangs.
Nora had always wanted long hair, ever since that first trip to the barber shop. There was just something so appealing about vivid strands of her orange hair touching the bottom of her back. But in middle school, she became sick. I mean, really sick.
Nora was diagnosed with brain cancer.
She lost all of her hair, losing all hope of the orange mane she wished for. Ren came to visit her every day, telling her to never lose hope—to never stop believing in miracles.
And Nora was cured. But her hair didn't grown back.
Ren bought her a wig, a wig with short hair at that, not knowing that she always wanted long hair. When he came to this realization, he offered to buy her a wig with longer hair. But she had refused, saying that she would wear that wig as long as it fit her head. Because it was special.
Because it was a gift from her best friend. So Ren grew his hair out long for Nora, who had always wanted that. He grew it out until Nora was satisfied, so she could have the hair she'd always wanted. And before long, he decided to get a pink streak in his hair, representing the fact that his best friend had survived cancer.
Ren changed his hair, not caring if other people would like it. He just wanted Nora to have what she's always wanted, even if she couldn't have it to herself.
Nora would often brush out his hair that was almost always tied up. She would run her fingers through it and play with it like it was her own, but Ren didn't mind in the least, as long as he was making Nora happy. And the fact that his magenta eyes just happened to match the streak in his hair, which was an odd coincidence, was something he considered a plus. But Ren loved his hair, and do you know why he loved his hair?
Because every time he looked in the mirror, it made him think of how happy he made Nora.
