Challenge: To, Too, Two
A/N: I meant to post this hours ago, but I was so tired! Unable to sleep a wink last night, I fell asleep shortly after lunch and didn't wake up until the kids' bedtime. The family went about their lives around me. I feel like I've lost a whole day!
My feet and back ached long before my shift started at the diner. Honestly, this was never my dream job. Divorced after twenty years as a housewife, my career choices were pretty limited. Ten years later, this job was really wearing me down.
Then they walked in. Now, I'm way too old to be swooning over a couple of good-looking young men, but these two were beyond handsome. The shorter one even flirted with me, making this old heart flutter. Polite and gentlemanly, they made my day that much brighter. Even left a good tip. Hope they come back soon.
