Rhonda stared back at her house from high in the branches of the apple orchard, her feet dangling and her long hair blowing in the wind. Sometimes she would come out here to think and get away from all her sisters. A house with six girls was tough. Well currently there was just Freida and Georgia at the moment, but they were a handful all their own.

This had been her home for as long as she could remember, the faded wooden panels and the floors precariously perched above each other but able to withstand all rain and snow. According to their dad, they had actually lived elsewhere before they came to this plot of land and started building. Rhonda could see where the initial house was: the ground floor with the kitchen, living room and dining room, and one room above which turned into Gene's but was her parents' at the time. Then they began to extend. The ground floor was widened, then they added a second floor, a third, a fourth and even a fifth, with an attic above it.

She looked through all the windows. She could see her dad cooking up a storm in the kitchen. The smell of the chicken they would be having wafted across the backyard and made her mouth water. He loved to cook, and was a way better cook that her mother. She could see her mum in the shed tinkering with another muggle thing she had taken home fom work. Gene's room looked out towards the orchard but Rhonda couldn't see him from where she sat. Freida and Georgia's room was on second floor with Priscilla's, which was currently empty as she had moved out a few months ago. A puff of blue smoke came from the twins' window and Rhonda looked away. What she didn't know wouldn't hurt her, hopefully. Billie's and Charlotte's were on the third floor and was always here waiting for them should they come back for a visit. Her parents' was above theirs. And then right at the top was hers. She could see her orange Chudley Canons posters from down here.

She smiled. Their house may not have been luxurious like the Malfoy's but it was big and it was definitely home. It was cozy and warm, full of love and care for one another. She wouldn't trade it for any other in the world, her home or her family.

"Hey Rhonda! What are you doing up there?" a voice called from below and Rhonda saw Gene looking up at her, shielding his eyes from the blinding sun above them.

"Just admiring our house," Rhonda said looking back at it wistfully.

Gene expertly hoisted himself onto the branch beside her. He threw his arm around Rhonda's shoulders and said, "It really is wonderful, isn't it?"

"Ya," Rhonda said. And the siblings just stayed up in the branches of the apple orchard for the rest of the afternoon, sharing stories and memories of their lives growing up in the Burrow.
