-Chapter 1: This Glitch of Mine-
Leafa was having a great day, at least for now. She was currently flying over sylph territory in ALfheim Online, or ALO, and enjoying every second of it. She swooped low over the trees, enjoying the freedom that came with her wings. She suddenly froze in midair, and black pixels started to cover her vision.
"What's going on?!" she shouted, before she blacked out.
-Linebreak, lalalala, ignore me please-
It was in the middle of a hot desert with small pink frogs that could actually be quite fearsome, where Leafa reappeared in a glow of blue light, like when she was logging nto the game.
Leafa was being shaken awake by a blond girl with a skull clip holding up her hair in a ponytail and the side of her head. She had brown eyes and was wearing an outfit similar in color to Kirito's SAO outfit, but with many differences. It consisted of a black shirt with silver lines, and armored plating on her right shoulder, along with black pants with silver designs on them.
"Wake up!" the girl shouted in her ear, "You don't want to be caught asleep in this place!"
Leafa woke up quickly, and the first thing she noticed was her missing hp bar, yet she still had her avatar form. "What's going on!" she exclaimed. "Who're you?"
The girl seemed to believe that she was talking about her appearance in the desert. "I'm Lucy Ashley," she told her, "and you just suddenly appeared in front of our guild hall in a blue glow, right after we teleported, so start explaining!"
Leafa was confused. She honestly had no idea what had happened, so she told Lucy exactly that.
Lucy sighed, exasperated. "You have to know what happened, you just looked like you used teleportation magic, which requires a lot of magic energy, and can only be used if you're authorized by the king, unless you're a dark guild member, who are to be killed on the spot!"
"Dark guild?" Leafa murmured. "What's that?"
Lucy was obviously frustrated at this point, and looked like she was going to blow a fuse. "You've never heard of the dark guild Fairy Tail? The illegal magic users? Have you been living under a rock?!" she shouted, not exactly try to hold in her frustration.
At this point Leafa was also starting to get frustrated. She had no idea where she was, everything was weird, and here she was, being shouted at by a complete stranger. "No, no, and no!" she shouted. "I'm sorry, its not my fault I suddenly awaken into a desert with no idea where I am after blacking out!"
Lucy snorted. "Well I can't have you running back to the royal city and telling everyone where our guild is so you're just going to come back to the guild with me for now." she stated with finality. She then muttered under her breath. "Geez, three weirdos in one day, what's happening to my life?" Suddenly she noticed something. "Why are your ears pointed?" she queried.
Leafa figured it wouldn't be a good idea to tell her about her being a sylph fairy. "Just a family anomaly," she smoothly lied, shrugging her shoulders, "Its been that way for generations."
"Uhuh, and I'm a rich girl," snorted Lucy disbelievingly. "Whatever, I won't inquire into it now, but you better tell me truth later." Leafa gulped at this and nodded.
Lucy started walking back to the guild hall with Leafa in tow, hoping she could get a normal day for once.
