Hi guys! So I'm trying a Gravity Falls fanfic now...*Awkward Silence* *cough*... Anyway, *Spoiler Alert* there will be pinecest. Sort of. I'm not making them related soooooooo yeah. Wow. This is alot harder than it looks. What do I say?! Quit looking at me! *runs away in a panic*

Chapter 1

"Bus 10 leaving for Gravity Falls." I hear a voice on an overhead speaker state.

"Bye Dippper! Have fun!" I hear my mom yell from outside. I ignore her. I don't really want to go to Gravity Falls, but dad and her insist that it'll be "good for me". Yeah right.

As I dig through my bag, I feel the half-full bus begin to move. "Where is it?!" I mutter in frustration, searching for my phone. After emptying my bag of it's contents in desperation, I realize the horrible truth. "Nooooo..." I groan, banging my head on the seat in front of me.

"You forgot something too? No way dude. What'd you forget?" A girl says in a laidback tone. I look at her. She's a teenage girl with long red hair. She kind of reminds me of a lumberjack, with her flannel shirt,her muddy hiking boots, and her axe.

I smile sheepishly at her. "I forgot my phone..."

She gasps dramatically. "No way dude! How do you plan on surviving without your phone?!"

I shrug, and find myself laughing. "I'm not sure."

"Well I forgot my phone charger, so I might as well not have a phone either." She shrugs jokingly. "We'll be fine without phones anyway. Gravity Falls is NOT a boring place. Why are you going anyway?"

"My parents wanted me to get out of the house, I guess." I shrug my shoulders. "I'm staying with my Great Uncle Stan at his place. It's a tourist trap called the Mystery Shack." I say nonchalantly.

"No way dude! I work there in the summer!" She exclaims, smiling. "We should totally hang-out there sometime! Soos will be there too!"

I'm not sure who Soos is, but if... crap. I don't even know this girl's name.

"My name's Wendy, by the way." She says, as if she can read my mind.

"My name's Dipper. Nice to meet you." I say, then lamely hold out my hand for a shake.

She smiles, and forms my fingers into a fist.

"That's better you dork" She says jokingly, then she bumps her knuckles agaimst mine.

I yawn, and since yawns are contagious, she does the same.

"I'm gonna take a nap. Don't want to be tired when we get there." She says tiredly.

I nod in agreement, before closing my eyes.

I have a weird feeling about Gravity Falls...
